If she's a poser, she better be older than 18!

She's actually a model for some artsy photo guy.

I can't really tell which pose she's in... Is she sitting, standing, or... bending over? ;)

And where exactly is her Klim? :D

That is a funny looking Tenere!!!! Aren't we Posers if we don't do this stuff on the S10 as noted above? Geez, guess I am one of those Posers!!! Hmm, where did I put the sales Brochure on the Vespa and Piaggio scooters? I'm not worthy!!!

Yep. Here I am farting, posing for a picture, wearing klim, giving my tired ass a break, etc.
Charlie Boorman would be proud of you posing like that.

By the way, he called and said he wants his "Long Way Round" DVD back! ::025::

It's in the second drawer in the exercise room, next to the porn.

Not much air in that pic riding a 125 two-stroke... ;)

So, should we all start draggin' out all our old MX, hare scrambles, enduro, road racing, etc. pics and start posting them? Maybe auto racing pictures, too?

One thing I learned from over 22 years racing motorsicles (and 10 racing cars) - there were a *TON* of guys out there with numbers on their plates that were most definitely "posers"! :D

Pluric? If he has any sense at all it's ONLY a sense of humor! :D

Ok, highschool Websters out: Poseur; noun, an effected or insincere person. Damn'd French, always screwing the the spelling of stuff. Or are we talking a poser; one who poses, as in "he did pose for the camera".

Prolly both...

I suspect Dallara is right and most Tenere riders have photos like this in the archive.

Here I'm posing with my finest sweatshirt, jeans and street helmet. If there is one thing I care about it's wearing the right gear to look cool when riding a bike. That's what us posers do.

At least my pose is on a bike with a headlight.

I prefer the more pretentious "Poseur" personally. And I am one apparently - let me count the ways:

1) I wear Klim gear - because I like to be dry when I'm poseuring in adverse conditions.
2) I have grip-tape on my tank (homemade KLR-style - thanks Mcbrien!) - because I like to keep my weight off the bars and my nuts off the tank when poseuring in the twisties.
3) I stand on smooth dirt roads - because our smooth dirt roads are sugar sand and I like to stay on the bike when poseuring on smooth dirt roads.
4) I wear a modular helmet - which I hope is almost as Poseur as an ADV helmet - because I like being comfortable anytime I'm poseuring.
5) I have an ADV Sticker on said modular helmet - because I want to make sure I'm fully poseuring anytime I'm poseuring.
6) I'm looking for some good hybrid touring/adv boots - because again, I want to be comfortable whether I'm poseuring long distances or down dirt roads.
7) Planning on some Givi Trekker side cases - because they look almost as cool as the ammo-can style panniers without actually being ammo-can panniers. Do I get extra "Poseur Points" because they're Italian?
8) Will soon be fitting an Akrapovic exhaust - unless I lose "Poseur Points" because they're Slovenian. Are there any good Italian exhaust houses I should look at?

Guess that's it so far because I don't have any RAM mounts, only watched a couple of episodes of the 'Long Way' series', and haven't added any aluminum to the bike yet. Either way, I'm not worried about it as long as somebody, somewhere, might, maybe, someday think I look cool while I

Everybody knows only the "real" ADV parts and accessories come from Germany! If you aspire to be a "poseur" do it right, man! ::024::

I just thought it was funny, you making fun of folks and here you got a Avatar stopped (I am guessing unless you are foolish enough to get a photo while moving) on a paved road with your matching Klim gear and D/S helmets on. Looks more like a photo I saw on Facebook, you know some one so vein they take a picture of themselves so they can show the world how cool they are.

All in good fun...............dont dish it out if you cant take it.
