If i see another picture of some douche bag standing on the pegs on a smooth dirt road, I'm going to buy a Harley and throw away my protective gear.

I'm going to make a list of douche bag things, right here. No offense to some of you- ;D

1. Standing up for a photo on a smooth road.
2. Painted skid plates.
3. Grip tape, anywhere.
4. Dakar stickers on your bike, unless you are racing in it.
5. Aluminum protective pieces made by touratech.
6. The word Farkle.
7. Buying a premium motorcycle and then inquiring about using cheap oil.
8. Referring to "Long way around" or Nick Sanders for any reason.
9. RAM mounts.
10. ADV stickers all over your crap.

What else?

Well, I think this is a great idea for you as you suggested.

I was thinking about other peoples opinions of me while I was standing on the pegs going down this nice paved road the other day looking very cool and adventurous . I am glad I painted my skid plated because all the grip tape was wearing off. I think the next Farkle I will do is add some more Dakar stickers around the Touratech spark plug wire alum. guards to make it look more cool. The last oil change went well considering I used the old oil from my 1997 Dodge truck, it still looked slippery to me, I am sure it will be fine in there for another 25,000 kms till the next oil change. I was hoping to see Nick Sanders in the long way around movie because I wanted to see the way he had his RAM mount attached. Did I miss anything......lol, Oh ya maybe I can find a picture of me standing on the pegs on a nice dirt road....

You are very funny........ ::015::

Crap...I have numerous Ram mounts around my bike...and I tend to stand up...a lot...regardless of road surface.

I hate finding out I'm a poser, douche bag. I could be a regular douche bag, but that poser part really bugs me. Can't live with that. Look for both my Tenere's in the For Sale section soon.

Maybe I'll take the money and buy a clarinet, a flute, or something else... and I'll learn to skip while I play. Nobody will call me a poser then.

2. Yep - well, it's powdercoated.
4. Had a Borg/Dakar sticker on the front fender of my Strom. Wish I had one on this bike.
6. Yep. Although I call them mods. I'm sure that's wrong, too.
8. Loved the video. Don't refer to it other than it's entertaining to watch.
9. Yep - use it for my GPS mount.

A Sportster 883 Low may be just what ails you. :D

Perhaps. Lord knows I have zero sense of humor. Hence my username. ::008::

11. Refusing to take your "premium" bike off the paved road as it will get the skid plate dirty.

I better cancel my order of numerous ADV stickers, oh well, I can probably sell them second hand.

Well, Pluric is genuinely funny... You're not Pluric.

About that sense of humor, where was yours when you were hawking sales for your uncle? ;)

OK, now I gotta' get back out to the garage to farkle-farkle-farkle my radar detector's RAM mount with some grip tape and a Dakar sticker, but on which bike? The Yamaha Super Ténéré or my Harley XR1200? ::017::

Dallara

p.s. does anybody know where I can get some Krylon skid plate paint to poser-up my powder-coated RumBux?

Funny! I was at the "Adventure Days" last week and saw too many putting around at 10 MPH in their "default position" of standing straight legged on a smooth dirt road. I stumbled into Goonville for sure.
