Jeremy, I may speak for others on this, but was wondering if there might be a possibility of a "package deal" on an order of skid plate and crash bars or something there like?
Now you've not done that right have you .... should've polled the boys .... got the level of interest and secured a discount for a bulk orders. 2 to 5, 6 to 10 etc. Arrrggghhh missed opportunity. ::) Never mind it's only money ;D

Hard not to love this stuff...but then, I'm not trying very hard. I'm easy (like Sunday morning) for great design work.

Wanted you to have something to enjoy over the long weekend (long here at AltRider, anyway -- the team is taking tomorrow off, so if you don't get responses to emails you'll hear back on Monday). Have a great holiday, everyone. :)

Jeremy,

Great video, you guys are doing a bang-up job!

I would be interested in a removable sealed bin or drawer that slides in and out of that cubby hole space under the rear rack.
Perhaps you could incorporate something like that as an optional add-on? :)

Keep up the good work!

Jeremy, Thanks for the updates. A small dry box to fit an air compressor in the cubby hole would be nice.
Also, do you have the weight of your crash bars.
Thanks

Mike B: right now, we aren't developing highway peg solutions for this bike. We're always interested to hear what parts people want, but that one isn't on our development schedule at the moment.

Jakeboy: thanks, man. The crash bars allow for the glove compartment to be accessed, but not the removal of the radiator-side side covers. Good call on the finish -- bead blast is how we get the finish. Right now, though, the bars have a Washington mud finish. ;)
Jeremy, Can the tank be pivoted up to service the air filter with the crash bars in place?

No problem with the radiator side cover removal. Once a year flush and fill on the coolant would be all you would need access for anyway.

Hey, guys, hope you all had a nice holiday. Thanks for the feedback over the weekend, good to get.

SuperT: the crash bars weigh about 10 lbs.

MortiisMachine & Hannabone: thanks, guys. We're working on price tags (so far, the crash bars, side stand foot, exhaust heat shield, and rear brake master cylinder guard all have pricing), and will try to keep you guys in the loop.

Kev & jakapo: won't be able to incorporate those into this first production run, but if there's strong interest in either option we would consider it. Concerning the crash bars, they weigh in at about 10 lbs.

Jakeboy: will have to get back to you on that, as we need to verify.

Re: AltRider products for the Tenere - Pivot Pegz

WOW - what a great product!!! (Why didn't I think of that.)

I like to stand alot when I ride off road. About the onl problem I have standing for extended periods is that I'd like the ability to move my feet a bit more and I would definitely like to be able to rotate my foot, especially on the brake side.

Add these to the farkle list.!!!!

Just a quick cautionary note. Pivot-Pegz are very nice footpegs, but the pivoting feature is not everybody's cup of tea - this is one of those things that many love but some hate with a passion. I'm with the latter group - I like wider pegs, but want nothing but an unmoving, rock-solid contact point at my feet. If you've never used them, you might try and find someone who will let you try them on another bike.

I will add to mark's post the factor in size of a foot. I wear size 14 USA shoe and placed my foot onto the pivot pegs of AltRiders Tenere. I seemed to notice immediate reduced mobility with a wider peg even though it had the pivot part of it. For my foot, this is going to be an issue even with a wider stationary peg that may be offered in the market. Just my observation, not a knock toward Alt's product they are selling!!! It is wonderful they are offering such fine parts!!!

Hey Jeremy, first of all thanks for the incredible videos of the products and test rides of the bike.

How about offering us a group buy discount as we wait for our bikes to arrive? It would be great to have an incentive to buy months ahead of time knowing that we saved a few dollars in the process. I think your products are among the best. Keep up the great work.
