I picked up a half dozen 1/8" vacuum caps because I felt weird having Napa special order 2 in from Des Moines just for me. I think I'll only need one or two if my memory serves me right to replace the ones on there.

PM me your address if you want and I'll snail mail 1 or 2 to folks who need them.

I think I have read all pages of this thread and understand the process of adjusting the throttle body screws and then synching.
I just ordered a Harmonizer and will wait until I get that before starting this mod.
I have been working on bikes (except fuel injected) for a long time and am drawing a blank on "CO adjustment".
Can someone please clarify this.
Much appreciated!

Ive had my bike for 1 year now...it has14, 000 miles on it. Some of you may remember I had a stalling and backfire issue, which I never solved. I did the CO adjustment last year but waited till warranty was up to do throttle body mixture screws , done 2 weeks ago at dealer. It did not help with the stalling whatsoever. It did seem to run better low to mid range but now weeks later im having a problem ...it will not idle correctly. It seems to be getting worse. Went for a ride on sunday, it was idling at 2000 rpm but it was only 20 some degrees and I thought it would go down. First couple stops I made it was idling at 1500 but jumping up and down. After half day of riding I stopped and when I restarted it was going from 800 to 1600 very sporadically. Then on way home it seemed it had a little miss going down highway. Any input as to why I have 2 thoughts im thinking vacuum leak or is it possible that the mixture screws being turned out does it make them looser and cojld they have moved? I ordered a sync gauge so I can check. Im not sure if right place to ask but since on the subject figured id start here.

Why did you wait for your warranty to expire before trying to solve this issue?
I would have taken it in to the dealer every day until I got results.
Sounds like you very well may have a vacuum leak.

Ive said it in this post before, but just a friendly reminder,, DONT use the pig tails.. Calibrate the TB and then put it back the hoses back to stock... Also, Ive spoken to a few customers that have read to use a Harmonizer or other tool to sync there TB.. Because they didn't have this tool they thought they could back out the closed screw 3/4 and then just move to the other side and back it out 3/4... DO NOT DO THIS... It doesn't work like that.. These screws are very sensitive and a little one way or the other can make the bike act bad...
For guys that have 20-25K miles and have not checked or changed the spark plugs I would suggest you do.

This is what I spent $160 for
You mean $160 for the motion pro? Ive gone though a ton of those.. They are about useless... I got so fed up with them I got with the big bosses over there and they sent me a few of them for free a few years ago... I gave up, I bought a harmonizer and that thing is spot on EASY.... If I where you I would not trust the numbers on the motion pro.. When I got the harmonizer I did a little experiment with both units. I "zero'ed" out the bike with the motion pro and then checked it with the harmonizer.. in my case it was way off... :( I threw all of mine motion pro's away...

Does anyone know where painted screw was from factory? I'm thinking dealer turned mine out way too far and I have no idea what baseline is. It runs good where I have it but if I'm way off from the recommend factory settings, I would rather put it back to there and see how it performs. Also, any ideas why there was gas in filter drain plug? Usually I have oil there every few thousand miles but this was almost all gas.

The bikes come with the white painted screw all the way turned in... DO NOT 'snug up' or tighten to tight. Once closed back out 3/4 of a turn and sync the other side with a tool like a Harmonizer... Both sides where never tapped in a specific clocked position. They are not equal, mechanically speaking. That's why its imperative to use a sync tool.. If you want it back stock, close the (white mark) side clock wise until it stops. Then sync the other side to the closed side... It then should run like crap.. LOL Works much better with one 3/4 turn out.

My bike isn't broken in yet but seems to have this problem. Should I wait till I get about a 1K miles on the clock or do it now? I have a harmonizer to do it properly.

Now that's an interesting and inventive way to ask for a free throttle body synch... :D

Did someone say FREE TB syncs? I'd be down for one if we are just handing them out like candy on halloween!
