So when you are on the road sometimes you see the craziest coolest things and this trip was no exception. Seen home made campers, overlanders, unimogs, converted military vehicles to campers, mostly European with these strange beasts.
But the strangest one yet we have encountered is this home built machine, very cool.

Guess you never did say your destination was Tuktoyaktuk but it’s hard for me to imagine you didn’t go there since you were so close ?

Ya it was real hard to turn around at the Arctic Circle and head back.
But honestly it give me a reason to go back, plus there are so many other places up there to do.
I already have a return trip planned and I’m looking forward to it.
This trip I had little say, it is about the Can Am Ryker and KB. Being that BRP(CanAm) is a large sponsor of the trip and this is what they wanted.
The other thing was the road conditions vs the Ryker. We worked hard to get it as far as the Arctic Circle, with only 4” of clearance I’m surprised that we made it. Going further was going to be a problem, KB also was being pushed to her limit, it’s a far tougher machine to ride in these conditions then a 2wheeler.
