It's been a few years since my big Alaska trip (June, 2012) and I wanted to get a little exploring in before back-to-school for the kids. I decided to head east over Superior and see how far I could make it in my allotted 11 days, since I've never been that way before. 10 nights - 7 camping...

One small thing to keep in mind, that I failed to do: with the bike loaded fully, the kickstand "gets" a bit too tall and parking gets a bit trickier. Luckily, on both my (right handed) tipovers, the bike pretty much landed on the spare tire I had strapped to the sidecase. Oh, another small...

After much research (too much, probably), here's the route I'm taking from northern Minnesota to Dawson. I won't be in a big hurry and Google says no highways. Also, I really want to get out to some of our Parks also, either there or on the way back. ::26...
