Had a really nice trip - 22 days - got home about July 4th. Met some really nice folks, saw some great places and rode some really nice roads. The Super T. never missed a beat in 11,800 miles. I did see a leaky left fork seal after about 4000 miles but no real other problems. The bike feels really broken in now but I'd take off tomorrow for another trip if I had to (or the wife would let me). I saw about 4 or 5 other Super T's the whole trip and one thing for sure - a lot of folks have not seen one yet. I also had some unfortunate encounters with nasty logging roads and another "white knuckler" called the Kleinshmidt Grade which takes you out of Hell's Canyon!

I've set up all my pics (about 375) on my personal page starting here. There's two versions:
1) bigger files here (faster connection speeds) ---> http://gisdata.nrri.umn.edu/pers/pm/AK_2012_big/index.htm
2) much smaller files here (dial-up users ? :'() ---> http://gisdata.nrri.umn.edu/pers/pm/AK_2012/index.htm

Here's a screengrab of my ending SPOT page:

...long trip but nice to get home safe!
