At 50,000 miles or so this past winter mine leaked. New o ring and oil seal. These seals did last longer than the fork seals.... ;D

I mocked the leak a few pages back. This is what I got for that, :) : Not bad for 58,000 miles. Fix was easy. Oil seal and O ring. (The oil seal was leaking).

Yes. Stock was "eh". Hotter eng and outside air temps - it seemed to drag and the engagement point seemed to move. Lower engine and outside air temp - seemed ok. Barnett - Smooth. Firm, even operation. Hookup point is the same all the time. I don't notice any vibrations (old or new basket) or...

I did new stock plates (had them already). New Basket and the Barnett. I blame the stock clutch "washer spring" for wearing my clutch parts out. I think I went with the heaviest springs on the Barnett. EJ

Easy Alt Rider Skid Plate Removal. Nut Plates are awesome. Do this: I had everything "bolted together" then, used a sharpie to mark where the nut plates were (rough). Once I took it apart, no prob. Centered the tabs, drilled tiny holes and popped them in. I could only find the nut plates...

Go to a camping store. I forget the brand on these. No zipper. Roll them up an it clips. One for the tent. One for the sleeping bag and more.
