I would have bought another Super Tenere, but I'm 70 and I have arthritis, particularly in my left hand. After a long day of riding, the clutching really sets my hand on fire...so here I am back to an Africa twin in the DCT model.
Yamaha must up the game and offer an adventure bike in a DCT.

The new Honda AT is a great bike! Both my son and one of my regular riding buddies ride them.
I just get a kick out of the time it takes to "log in and hook up" the phone and intercom to the digital dash and if need be, select a different riding mode.
As I wrote in another post, by the time they are ready to ride, the old fart on his Teneresaurus is long gone!
Enjoy your DCT (I have it on my X-ADV). More than one knee bender on 1000 cc sport bike has been left behind between traffic lights due to the seamless acceleration.
Still partial to shaft drive so unless Yamaha get brave and offer a shiftless alternative, the T12 is the go to for long travel.
