59 and my knees love the ST more than my FJR. I ride the ST more due to that but I won't lie, I like the get up and go of the FJR. Both great bikes....
I’m 58 and just bought my ST last year. I also have an FJR and agree on the compare. When I really want to give my knees a break I ride my Indian Vintage 2014 :)

40y old right now, got my S10 when I was 38.

im 6’4” so the riding position is my main concern with bikes. yes part of me wishes it was a sexy, sleek thing but i’d rather be comfortable while having fun than look good.

50. My S10 is definitely the most boring of my bikes and affectionately called "cockroach". I ride everyday and have for a long time. Commute and fun. The S10 just flat works, nothing great, but does it all. Its usually serves as bad weather commuter and tourer.

I'm 70 years young, that is.
I very much enjoyed my 2018 Super Tenere along with 46,500 kilometers of pure enjoyment.
From a performance standpoint, it's a bit of a turd, however very reliable, comfortable and an overall great motorcycle.
I did find it a bit too heavy, but no hardship. The handful of of times I dropped her, there were always helping hands to assist me with picking her up.
I'm back to my true love, the Africa Twin...I had a 2016 clutch model for two years and 30,000 kilometers, now riding a 2020 Africa Twin DCT, look Ma, no clutch, puts my arthritis at ease.

I’m 60 and bought my S10 last winter. I haven’t done any touring on it yet and with its suspension like it is I don’t think it will be very comfortable. But when lockdown ends I’ll be taking her to MCT for a suspension work over which usually sorts stuff out. It’s fine as a winter commuter bike and saves my Zx14r from the salt

71 Y/O, the Super Tenere is my 43rd bike. Tenere shares garage with a Triumph Tiger 800 and an older Yamaha with a Dnepr sidecar.

In Oct 2019 I rode the Tenere from Richmond to Denver in 35 hrs to get an Iron Butt 'Bun Burner 1500' certificate. Easy ride on the ST!
Ouch!!! I would have to pack so preparation H.

70 years young, got my blue Yamaha Tenere XT1200Z IMG_5332.jpgSuper Tenere xt1200z last year september. A 2013 with 19000 Kilometers.
Bevor it was a Harley Davidson Dyna wich I bought in 2005, she still stands in my garage, with 225000 Kilometers on the clock and still running faultless.
Want to go this year to the Ukraine, Rumania and a couple other countries in the eastern part. There will be the Tenere the right bike.
And as a old Pfadfinder and the Corona I will be living for a couple of weeks in the tent, just to be save and get as less contacts as possible

Is that paint, or tape? The ones I was referring to are the anodized blue ones. I don't think I've ever seen this style before, but they look great.

46 and have had my new old stock 2019 for 8 months now. It’s a tad painful to view all the data posted by other riders as it confirms my wife’s statement when I bought the bike...”you’ve joined the old mans club now”. Lol. Im young at heart and bought the bike because my head and heart saw eye to eye and knew it was the right bike.
