I know... I'm not Super anymore... :(
but I don't want to leave this Forum so, if you don't mind I'm going to post the evolution of little sister Tenere 660. ::008::

I bought a Yamaha demo bike with 7.000km but it was the ABS version. Last week I sold it (it's the shorter time I had a bike!!) and ordered a new one without ABS.

I hope next week Is going to be at home.
Meanwhile last saturday I did a farewell trip with the black one.

Some pictures and a video in action!! I love this bike: http://traildreamer.com/despidiendome-de-negrita/

Off course I knew that but it was a very good oportunity, so I bought it and sell it at a better price, so now I can have a new one.
I took the risk but it worked ;)

After seeing what you did with the ST, I can't wait to see what you do with the 660!

JaimeV,

Do you have a list of things you know you will do to this bike even before you receive it and have you already spent money getting ready for it?

I bet you have If you are anything like me when I am waiting on a bike and I already know what I want on it before the long term adders.

I sure wish they would bring the 660 to the states so I can replace my KLR and have a all Yamaha barn. ;)

I wish the best for you and your 660 build. Congrats ::008::

I think his list is ready from the moment he decided to switch. :) Oh boy, this bike can really be transformed in some serious rally beast.

The XT660Z Tenere R looks good. Makes me consider a trip to Europe to buy a 660, spend a month traveling, then shipping it back to the USA. Need to check into if it can be imported to the USA and registered in California.
