So far, I like my GoPro. Right out of the box I was already shooting video. As a man I didn't really read the instructions. It was very user friendly right out of the box. I shot some video, that instead of using R2. I used R3...so the sound and video really don’t match and the speed is off. For instance, I would be at a stop and then you would hear the bike motor rev and the sound of going thought gears. Lesson learned. Check the camera before you start recording.

@tubebender: Earlier you asked about the video/audio syncing. This is actually a bit tricky because the file names don't match and the GoPro's date feature is quite impractical. So I'm syncing everything manually.

The process is this: When filming, I press "record" on the camera, then the button of the Zoom H1 which is in my tankbag. I end recordings the other way round. While editing, I match the video and audio files by their order and length. Then I do a normalization of the audio with the freeware audacity. I open the video in avidemux and set the video mode to copy. In "Audio | Main Track" I select external WAV and select the normalized Zoom recording. I set the audio mode to "aac" and "Shift" by 1000 ms, which matches the time I ususally need to switch on audio recording. Then I save the video as mp4 (this is very fast because the video doesn't get re-encoded) and check if it is in sync. If not, adjust the Shift value and save again. [For filming I'm usually using the PAL and r2-setting of the GoPro]. Then you're good to upload to Youtube.

@colorider: For me the 960 would suffice. The 1080-Full-HD-recording of the HD model is only upscaled and not really an improvement. Anyway you need it if you plan to use accessories like the LCD or battery back pack.

And now for some more videos.

This is the Col de la Bonette in Southern France - Europe's highest through road over the Alps @2805m / 9200ft height.
After 3:30 there's my friend with his R1200GS in front, equally loaded as my XT1200Z.

The Torrente Enna is a small, very nice canyon in Northern Italy. Unbelievable how well the S10 handles on these small roads.

Stunning views and an interesting mix of gravel and tarmac on the Passo di Crocedomini, Northern Italy:
