Something about blood clots I heard. I also heard that the number of cases of blood clots among those vaccinated was about the same as would be expected in the general population. However, in an abundance of caution, and being under the microscope, they are going to investigate before continuing.

Why don't you enter Mexico and then turn around and try to enter the US without your passport, drivers license and/or birth certificate. Or better yet to really test your statement declare you're a Mexican citizen and see if they let "anyone" enter.

I not only believe it I have witnessed it. Border patrol is very under staffed and thousands come across daily. They do not necessarily come through the port of entry. I know of at least 25 that were packed into a single SUV that crashed just last week and killed 13.
Our local news just showed that 2000, 14-17 year old minors are being taken to Dallas where they will be processed, and placed with friends/family. From what I understand the current law prevents the US from refusing unaccompanied minors. Friends/family south of the border takes the kids, and drops them off at the border. . . . where they are housed & fed. . . . until they can be placed with friends/family already north of the border. The Texas border is in freefall.
Meanwhile our own homeless keep getting their tents pushed down the street(s) because nobody wants to deal with them. I do understand that there is a certain percentage of homeless, that want to be homeless. The vast majority don't, and need help.
I don't have anything against helping people in need, but we need to start with our own citizens.

Nope we are still using it. There have been less cases of clots than in the general public who haven't been vaccinated. A chap here in the very town where I live has just had his leg amputated following a blood clot caused by Covid. He hasn't been vaccinated.
There is more at play here. The EU messed up and were late ordering the vaccine. They have limited supplies and I'm not the only one here who suspects this has something to do with their decisions. Just watching the international news now, and France is in real trouble with both infections and a slow vaccine platform.
It all makes it harder to believe in the vaccines, but I am going with the science which shows, from everything I've read, that the AZ vaccine is safe. I'll take my chances with it still.

Being an old retired guy, I don't keep track of some things. Now I see why the governors of some states have removed the mask mandates at this time. Spring Break, or as we'll be calling it in a few weeks, the 2021 Spring Super Spreader event. Morons just wanted to get more money and likely businesses paid those governors off to get the mask mandates removed.
Locally our county board removed mask mandates for our county offices... Promptly countered by EVERY county office posting their own mask requirements and saying they have the right to require masks inside for both employees and visitors and will continue to do so.
The variant B.1.1.7. of the virus is now dominant in the US. And appears to be more deadly as well as more easily spread. Lots of Red Cross donation blood is being found to have covid antibodies in it too, meaning a lot of people didn't know they had it. Good for them, maybe not so good for the Red Cross. I have no idea if they can use that blood or not. Seems like it wouldn't be a bad thing for the people getting the antibodies, but I don't know enough about their rules and regulations.

This is another misinformation campaign being circulated. Since the vaccine's mRNA does not even enter the nucleus of the cell (where our DNA resides), it cannot incorporate into the human genome, further our genome consists of DNA and the virus's genome is RNA, including the mRNA snippet used in the vaccines and therefore cannot not integrate with ours or any DNA. Gene therapy requires the incorporation of new or replacement genes into a host's DNA. So you proved your prior post false already with this, thank you.
They were not let across and were not offered a vaccine. Even you would not get a vaccine without proper ID. I personally know someone turned away in CA for insufficient ID. ID expired after first shot and they refused same ID for the second shot. I have 80% of my close family living in So Cal. All that have wanted a vaccine have received at least their first shot already. Dozens of people..some qualified by job or age/health but some by their doctors securing an appointment. There are ways to get one without lying or paying to jump line.
Chris I swear you badmouth your own city, county and state so much it is beyond me why you still live there. Always hearing you crying the victim really gets old. You'll live a longer and healthier life moving somewhere better suited to you. This is not a personal dig at you either, truly meant as honest friendly and caring advice.

Well Eric I am an old retired guy too. All Mercola wrote was backed by science and was not his opinions. I have read his stuff over the years and he has never been misleading. I buy none of his products. Mercola has been targeted by the cancel culture because like most cancelled Doctors he exposes their bias and lies and brings truth to light. I do not qualify for the shot at this time simple as that. And yes undocumented aliens are being let across and getting the vaccine ahead of those in need. How it's happening and what kind of ID they are using I have no idea. It's no different than them getting on welfare and food stamps.
I have every right to not like the way my crappy state is run. It's not just my state either, it's the whole country. I don't get to choose where I live unless I want to leave my family and their care over to someone else. Heck, I almost moved to Oklahoma before my parents, wife, and mothers health started failing.
The only victims I'm sad for are those other than me who are in need and get denied at every turn. As far as myself I'm not happy about waiting but it's no big deal.
And it's cool David, I don't take it personal. I'm quick to admit I can be grumpy. I think my wife and I are going to get away for a night or two at her cabin in Idywild and disconnect from the electronics. Your advice is heeded and noted.

Well this is a debate room Mark. Does it really matter if a member of this forum rides or not? I joined this forum long before owning my Super Tenere. Outside of the debate room there is a lot of good info to be had that crosses over to other bikes other than the Super Tenere.
