Trip around lake Siljan in the Dalarna province, Sweden
The origin of this lake is interesting as it was "born" through a meteorite hit some 365 million years ago.
The crater/lake has a diameter of 50 km / 32 miles. Impressive.
Accompanied by my lovely GF on (my) Honda X-ADV we set out on a four day adventure.

Coffee break by one of numerous lakes on the route to Siljan.

Famous mansion formerly owned by a "toyboy" to a Swedish Queen (around 1900). Officially he was the queen's private doctor.

The X-ADV easily won the fuel consumption race with 3.1 l/100 km (76 US mpg) vs 4.3 l/100 km (55 US mpg) for the XT12 despite spirited but not reckless driving.

I was talking about early commutes. I haven't fought any fires, but spent a shit ton of time training to fight them in the Navy. It was like being inside of a b-b-q grill.
