How long does the adjustment/sync last until you can tell a difference?

I am guessing that there is a vacuum leak from bad vacuum cap(s) or loose connection(s).
about half a day seems like, woke up this morning and rode her 50 miles and was perfect, most likely because we went to a Honda dealership and test ride a wing. But I'll be checking the vacuum hoses tonight.

Adjusted throttle body's for the 3rd time in 2 months.
I did both my '12 bikes in the first 5K miles, and the needed it. Never needed it again in 33K and 39K total miles and counting. Even had Romney check them at the valve check. Both where still good.

Oh, and fantastic sunrise photo you got there eemsreno. ::008::

rolled just over 10 000 kms, in 2 months, on the new ride...
bringing me up to 130 654 total Super Tenere kms, in 3 years...

regardless of what the so-called motorcycle ''journalists'' say,
the Super Tenere IS an awesome go-anywhere-do-anything machine.....

Loaded the bike for a four day trip to Durango, Co from Thousand Oaks, Ca on Sunday. First day is 800+ miles (to Durango), two of the days will be riding the area and then returning home on a differnt route. Anyone ever camp at the National campground there? Thoughts? ::021::

Installed LED fuses. They light up a small led when broken. They are a little more expensive then normal ones but it would save some time if something does blow. The only fuse I had blow was for the power outlet probably because I was trying to run to many things of it.

Just a note about this style of fuse. Because of the design, when the fuse blows there is still a low current connection, the one across the LED to make it light up. I have these and one of my aux circuit fuses blew, and the small current flow did some odd things. My older GPS, (Garmin 2610), was on that circuit and would flutter on and off with annoying gremlins until I pulled over and replaced the fuse. Since it was a trivial item at the time, I knew a fuse had blown, but wasn't going to pull over to deal with it, just wait until my next planned stop. (At the time I was on a trip and covering 300-400 miles that day.) The annoyance caused me to pull over sooner and replace the fuse as I grew concerned that the constant flickering of power to some of my electronics might be damaging.

Just be aware that if you have multiple things on that circuit, some may do odd things when the fuse blows, due to the small current flow across the LED that is still present.

I replaced vacuum caps and clamps. Problem solved. The cap had a small crack.

Bertha went for a 90 mile South Florida loop up to Beach than back home. I thought it would be a good idea to blow out the air filter since I had never done so before. The 5 min job took a few more min than that to complete..

Put Shinko 705 (50-50) on the rear; Metzler Tourance (85-15) on the front. Tired of warped tread blocks from mostly hi-speed cruising. Feels much more planted in the twisties. Would rather have the back drift a bit, than the front give way. Just tested this Combo on 800 mi loop. Los Angeles-HU in Mariposa-Sonora Pass-back down US395.

Feeling old here cause I did 330 miles on Sunday and it kicked my butt.
But it was up the 395 thru Kennedy Meadows to Kernville and back home.
Kinda new at the map stuff but this was the trip.
