FYI - If you added the powered unit, don't wire it strait to the battery as they indicate. It draws current even with nothing plugged into it or turned on and will, WILL! , kill the battery over only a few days. BTDT, got a new battery too, as the original was stone dead with at least one bad cell.thfraser said:Added a Bag Connection setup!
Thanks for the heads up! I have just the normal connector, no powered unit. Though it does seem very tempting, being able to charge stuff while going down the road would be very nice.EricV said:FYI - If you added the powered unit, don't wire it strait to the battery as they indicate. I re-wired mine to a switched aux. fuze block. No issues since then, except for some intermittent power issues.
It works great for that. Really nice to not have cords outside the bag when charging.thfraser said:Thanks for the heads up! I have just the normal connector, no powered unit. Though it does seem very tempting, being able to charge stuff while going down the road would be very nice.

from Jaxon;
but took them off today to fit Shock Sox;
then replaced Jaxon's fork protectors;
In standard form the fork seals are not well enough protected for off-road / mud. I think mine are now. Overkill? Maybe. ::008::

+1. I have the same setup as Eric V. I keep my smart phone fully charged while listening to the music on it via blue tooth headset. I also keep a 3000mah lithium battery hooked up and charged so that when I pitch a tent somewhere I can recharge my headset, camera, etc while I sleep. Very handy thing to have.thfraser said:Thanks for the heads up! I have just the normal connector, no powered unit.
