Installed my new WaspWorks decals, red on a black Tenere, and also The Tabasco tank protector. All installed easily and looks great. Also installed PIAA replacement horn. Easy to install and has a greater sound than the little anemic meep meep horn that came stock.
Pleased with all. Get some pics up tomorrow.

What did I do to my Super Tenere today...?

Well, actually, I did it yesterday. Just been too busy riding to write about it.

I picked it up at the dealership! So what!?

What someone else, namely the dealer, half an hour before I picked up my brand spanking new S10, did..... was to drop it on its side in the showroom :-(

On the sunny side.... The guards on the side and handlebar did exactly what they're there for, protected the shiny bits. The guards got scratched, one of them broken and the windshield broke off completely. But the more precious parts are intact and the bike runs like a dream.

Bloody hard getting anyone to believe that "it came like that!"

Attended the NorCal tech day today. Mine was the only black bike, so I guess in a sense I was outstanding! Installed a zerk fitting on my shifter and was helped with a suspension readout. A good time was had by all.

Added a Bag Connection setup!
FYI - If you added the powered unit, don't wire it strait to the battery as they indicate. It draws current even with nothing plugged into it or turned on and will, WILL! , kill the battery over only a few days. BTDT, got a new battery too, as the original was stone dead with at least one bad cell.

I re-wired mine to a switched aux. fuze block. No issues since then, except for some intermittent power issues.

Thanks for the heads up! I have just the normal connector, no powered unit. Though it does seem very tempting, being able to charge stuff while going down the road would be very nice.

It works great for that. Really nice to not have cords outside the bag when charging.

Added fork protectors like these a while ago;

from Jaxon;
but took them off today to fit Shock Sox;

then replaced Jaxon's fork protectors;

In standard form the fork seals are not well enough protected for off-road / mud. I think mine are now. Overkill? Maybe. ::008::

I added these Shock Sox today. It took a lot longer to open the package and the shipping box than to put them on - a LOT longer.
Did NOT add Jaxon's Fork Protectors just the Sox. (Will get fork protectors sooner or later Jaxon).
I like these better than the Kriega's I had before. They kind of fell apart but that could be that I did not follow the advice of many to take them off and give them a spray of WD40 once in awhile (most said when washing but I rarely if ever wash my bike, instead I wipe it down with Honda Pro spray cleaner stuff)
We will see what happens ...
These Shock Socks are the six inch kind a lot longer and IMO better fitting than the Kriega's. Better Velcro that wraps around fully in three places and not one up and down Velcro strip. The more I look at the two kinds the much better I think the ShockSox.com pair will last longer - as I said time will tell. The ShockSox cost me $30 shipped from RockyMountain but I don't remember how much or where I got the Kriega's. Also got two stickers with the Sox ...

I want a set of those 'knee grips' in the worst way. Where did you get them, and will they ship state-side?

+1. I have the same setup as Eric V. I keep my smart phone fully charged while listening to the music on it via blue tooth headset. I also keep a 3000mah lithium battery hooked up and charged so that when I pitch a tent somewhere I can recharge my headset, camera, etc while I sleep. Very handy thing to have.

$12.00 knee pads :) I used 3M adhesive tape for steps . Its quite ruff so
after application I used a piece that was left over to sand over what I had
applied to tank and it worked great . It's now about the same texture as the
seat .
