Whats better than fresh rubber? Well besides that

William did you ever work on that scott steering damper? I talked to scotts about six months ago and they said they would get around to making a mount but haven't heard or seen anything yet. I don't want to weld my frame with their universal mount. Maybe one day enuff S10 will be sold that they will make one
I have to agree that fresh tires do make a difference.

I did look at what would be needed to mount the damper. It would be beyond my skills to make. I want a bolt on installation.

I have sent two emails to Scotts asking if they were going to make a mount for the XT. Both times they said "no". I will send another request.

First significant rain in the Seattle area in 83 days!!! I wasn't going to risk the oil on the roadways! Kept it in the garage and put on the OEM tank pad, and then did chores that I had been sloughing for the past month since I bought the ST ::008::. Is there a nickname for that thing?

The good news is I got my 600 mile service done. The bad news is there was a nail in the back tire so now I am running on a patch. Not sure how long I'm going to do that.

once when we were young,”a long time ago” I put new raised white letter tires on my bike, when I rode it up to show Michelle, one tire had the lettering up and down the other had it front to back, I told her “Man I should have installed them so both Tires had the lettering up and down together.” She said yah you should have dummy, Don’t tell her that I told you this story. I completed my 600 mile service, fluids and checking torque on every bolt and nut I could find...including spokes. And my Rumbux are ordered...yeah ::012:: . Now to get out and ride again! This is the first bike that I have ever owned that I broke in just like the book says and even changed my fluids at 100 miles. Me likey the Super 10. Oh yeah... the job also took about 3 Killians Irish Reds.

British American Decal

Zamfield, can you tell me where you got your Brit/Am Decal from? Looking for one for my side bag. Cheers . Any good sources for Decals would be appreciated.

Used my Tenere as a commuter today .. 37 miles in 96 minutes ... Clutch hand is tired ... Friday afternoon traffic is the pits. Oh, and it rained .. really rained... I got wet feet out of the deal, but nothing worse.

My perfect road is out there .. I just need to get it yellow taped off so no cagers can share >:D

Wow! Don't know where your from but thats worse than the L.A. traffic scene. Here there is usually more than one way to go in order to avoid the worst of it and save time even though it's likely more mileage.

After commuting to work, I dropped my off at the dealer for the 12K mile service.
The rain has started. It might be time to put new rubber like Dunlop 607s on those hoops or is it more of an excuse to go play on grimy fire roads with my TKCs?
