Pulled the rear suspension off to grease everything.

Why are these motorcycle companies afraid to use a little grease!!

Next up is coolant change and maybe get to the head bearings tonight or tomorrow.

Changed the coolant this afternoon, but that's about it. Steering head bearings in the morning and the rest of the stuff I guess.

Washed 4,100km of crud off it yesterday and replaced a blown bulb. Goes into the shop for a busted fork seal tomorrow, then I need to sort out how to protect the seals better...

I let mine sit while I took the FJR on a run to Portland to the Areostich pop up event. I had thought about it but the FJR has the Farkles and the S-10 needs it's own.

Took a local 700 km return ride to the west coast of Vancouver Island with a friend of mine on his new 18 GSA1200 Rallye to finish off the bikes break in. We stayed over night and the temps. dropped to -2 C so the roads were a little sparkly with frost and a little unnerving when we left for home in the morning.

No pretty pictures yet, but I called the dealer to have them get mine out of storage and ready for pickup weekend after next. Maybe by then we'll be done with all these friggin' snowstorms up here.

Sorry to say I traded the S10 in exchange for the new 2018 triumph Tiger 1200. The s-10 was a good bike, but just didn't grab me. After 30,000 miles, I decided to go in another direction. I will posting a Alt rider crash bar and a set of Givi Trekker Outback mounts in the sales area, later. been good talking to you guys, so ride safe and enjoy yourselfs. ::021:: ::021::

Made some suspension adjustments based on similar settings used by riders my size. It has been way to soft since I bought the bike 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing how it rides.

Just curious on what highway pegs you went with? I am assuming after reading your tool box post that you have Givi crash bars up front that you mounted the pegs to?

Let me know, I was looking around at options for pegs that will work for the OEM crashbars that I have. I was looking at MFW pegs as they look pretty nice, but with the pegs and mounts totaling up to about $155 they seem a bit pricey.

By the way nice write up on the tool box install! It is surprising that Givi doesn't make a mount kit for this location.

Here is a link to the thread I made on fitting the tool box to the PL2119CAM frames.
