Installed the oem heated grips and some 4000k H7 bulbs to match the Piaa LED lights. They aren't quite as white as the Piaa's but close. I have some LED marker lights ordered that should be here next week.

Ordered a set of Mitas E-07 Dakar's at the consensus of recommendations I received here. They should be in tomorrow.

My OEM Battlewings are at 6,000 miles and the rear tire is squared off pretty bad. I also have small cracks in between all of the treads. Pretty disappointing durability if you ask me.

Today I brightened up my Ten with some big Yamaha's.
At least you shouldn't be asked, is that a BMW?!

From Amazon. There is a chart at the bottom of the page that compares the different versions.

Thanks for your reply, I didn’t realize it yesterday but I did buy a set of those exact same bulbs from Walmart , they only lasted 10,000 miles in my wing , so I used the one year warranty and jumped through some hoops to get a free replacement set from Phillips, put the replacement set in my Tenere where they only lasted 5,000 miles, yes they were significantly brighter than stock H7 bulbs but the short life was the deal breaker, so I switched to LED, the LED’s light things up much better, just short of 10,000 miles right now, hopefully they will keep working for a lot more miles.

Just got back from a 4,200km tour of the South Island including 2,350km on an endurance ride. Bike took everything in its stride except for a fork seal quitting on day 2 before the endurance ride and a blown headlight bulb...

Was at the New Zealand embassy a couple of weeks ago for details and it is now on the radar for next winter.

Spent a stormy evening hanging out in the garage wiring in flood lights on the engine guards. The next night I got to take them out for a test run. I angled them out a bit to help light up the side if the road better. Makes me feel more confident on sweeping curves in the pitch dark .

They look good, the fact the colour temp of all the lights is the same really helps the look.

Thanks. Inconsistent lighting colors kind of bugs me.

Picked up my 2nd super ten yesterday,it's secondhand but immaculate,so today I took off the 12v socket and spliced into the wires and soldered in my sat nav wire so it only comes on with the ignition, the accessory plug was taken up by the heated grips, hoping my rack and sat nav bar comes in the week then put them on after work and hopefully will be out on it next weekend.
