Put the cover back on after the rainy wind blew it off. Might get out for a ride on Sunday.

Pulled the battery and brought it in for the winter on the tender. Bike stored in the shed. No riding for the foreseeable future. :'(

I feel for you brother. I do NOT miss the days when I had to put the bike into hibernation. Now, I do NOT like the 106* days in Texas, but, usually, there are several days in every winter month that the weather is fine for riding. And I live in North Texas, South Texas has even better winter weather and roads to ride.

My brother-in-law lives in Flower Mound. We kid him in the heat of summer when they can't use their pool because its too hot.
I might have to trailer in down at some point this winter.... We have about 9" of snow out there now, and anticipating single digit temps mid week.

Would love to go spend a month in Arizona.

Just received my Russell Day Long with pillion today. Wow, what a difference. Also got the heated seat option for both seats. Hooked it up to the PDM60 for ease of power distribution. I was going to go the sport seat (lower) due to my short stature, but decided I'd take a risk and go with the more comfortable, but tall position. I'm glad I did. Even though I'm 5'5, I'm still able to slide forward out of the bowl and get my feet down. Life is good!

Today I looked at the crappy weather forecast for the next 15 days... but today's forecast said partly sunny and a high of 54 degrees. So I had to get the Tenere out for a ride. I rode around 160 miles and it felt great!! it was nice to get out!

I got my flashed ECU back and installed it a few days ago, but left the body panels off so I could install my Eastern Beaver 3 Circuit Solution, which I did today (in spite of temps in the teens all day). So far I have 1 circuit hooked up to my GPS, the other two will be for a TPMS and aux lights ( when I can afford it).
So I got everything wired up, fired up the bike to make sure everything worked, all good! Seems like the engine fired up much quicker than before, also revs quicker (ECUnleashed). Can't wait for nicer weather so I can test it out.
All that's left is fastening down the bits of the 3CS, tidy up the wiring, install the panels, and hope winter gives us a break sometime soon!

I'm running out of mods for this bike. That's a good thing right?
Added the late model (2014) Super Ténéré tank logos.

I like them a lot better than the 1st gen tank logos. Debating whether or not to delete the originals, but they've been on for 5 years, so that may not be an option any more.

Most people ask if it's a BMW. Doh!

Just fitted a new Motobatt as the original Yuasa has let me down more than once.
Also wired in the Ctek lead and a fused feed for my Satnav.

Bought a left over 2016 in yellow. Put 250 miles on it. Now I'm going over the fasteners and getting to know it.

Rode my new (to me) Super Tenere from it's previous home in Oklahoma to it's new residence in Texas today! 400+ happy miles for the drive home.

Kerrville is a sweet homespot for a Tenere.

Merry Christmas to you!
And Merry Christmas to you! Yep, Kerrville has lots of good roads to ride, to include the 3 Sisters during the week when the crowd is less. Unfortunately the Yamaha will have to hibernate in the garage for 30 days or so since we're heading south to Port Isabel for 30 days or so of warmer weather next month in the Winnebago.

Waiting impatiently for our mail carrier to drop off my flashed ECU (thanks Anthony!) so I can install and hopefully sneak in a Christmas ride.
