New Oil Filter
New Spark Plugs
New Brake Pads (front)
New FD seals
New Coolant (flush)
TB sync
Air Filter was clean
Brake & Clutch fluid were good

$155.00 total
Gonna suck when my contract is up. It's been a sweet deal for sure.

Swear she ran smoother coming home.

That IS a sweet deal! - wish I had the equivalent, had mine 10 months and 7500 miles, service in a months time probably £300 / $5001

Front parts showed up today. Just gotta wait for the rear part.

Nick placed an o-ring on 1 fork for a quick eyeball bump measure. Nice touch ::008::

Yes. If you really do ride AND you trust the technician that is going to service your bike, a service contract is a no brainer.
But, you only get 1 shot at it. Once they know you are the kind of rider that they are going to take a bath on, you aren't getting that deal again.
It has been amazing having a 5star tech maintain my bike. I ride it. I hammer it. Bash it. Then ride in and have it looked after.

He did tell me "Wash it" when I picked it up today. I told him I did wash it.

The O-Ring is a nice touch. Much more elegant than my zip tie!

I'm not even at home, but the new ear tire showed up yesterday, and my wife took it to be mounted...I got about 8K miles out of the rear K60, but too much commuting knocked down the center long before the side lugs wore out. I kept the old tire, just in case...

I'll be scrubbing it in tomorrow on my way up to Vegas...

I made a set of 8', 10 AWG jumper cables to keep under my seat. They plug into an SAE plug that's attached to the battery, also used for battery tender. The pigtail SAE plug tucks up under the right side electrical cover. I have a piece of electrical tape on the end to keep the muck out. ;-)

I put a depost down on one! I am moving from a 2002 R1150GS to a 2013 Super Tenere. I am ready for some newer technology and updated looks. I hope I can make the motor a bit more exciting than an old boxer. Have been reading about ECU mapping changes from the clutch switch and reflash. We will see. There are many other competing farkles too.

Today, I trudged out to the garage, taking care not to slip on the ice and snow, wearing a warm jacket and gloves ... opened the garage door ... put the panniers on my Tenere. Stood and looked at him for a bit. Closed the garage door .... trudged back to the house, taking care not to get frostbit on the way. It was fun. I really enjoyed it. boo-yah. I'm OK. No, really, I'm fine. Please don't worry. OH, stop .. you're embarrassing me. Send money. R ::020:: ::009:: ::010::

Lots of GS'rs that have migrated to the S10. In 3 years of hanging here, I think there has only been 1 that didn't find it a suitable replacement, and returned to the BMW.

Having said that, I assure you that it is folly not to flash the ECU on the 2013. It costs less than the new windshield you are gonna buy for it. :)
I actually recommend spending some time without the flash. At least enough time to get to know it. It will make you appreciate it that much more. :)

Welcome, by the way. I hope your Tenere can live up to the many years you enjoyed your GS. I suspect you are the perfect candidate.

Rem, I sent you a box of Sunshine today, but lost the tracking number. Sorry, it will probably end up shining up the UPS driver's butt instead of at your place to melt the snow and ice. O:)

They have nice condos in Victoria, don't cha know? Here's a pic of the realtor I spoke to on your behalf. She says come on down...

He's got a bell, he should be able to make it at least to Cashe Creek! He can hitch from there if need be. Ice studs are awesome!!

Besides, the real estate gal said she was single and blind, so I told her how good looking Rem was and what great massages he gave. >:D But, it is the internet, so maybe that's not really her picture, but she sounded sooo sincere on the phone. ;D

Got headlight harness replaced, turned over 12,000 miles (after one year and two and a half months of ownership) and tried to dodge the rain:
