I wanted to fit those Pirelli but I have opted for Continental trail attack 3 hoping that they will last around 7k-8k miles...
Please let us know how long yours will last, I might give them a try next time I will have to change the tires...
Just picked up Conti TA3’s for mine too(£225 from bikespeed). The OE bridgestones are nearly shot at 4600 miles. Can’t wait to get the contis fitted, had the 2’s on my old GS for some years and can’t fault them. Can’t really see how the 3’s could be better, only time will tell.

I have done only 600 miles on them but I like them.
The bike seems easier to be flicked around ( probably with ANY new tires to be honest).
They have a rounder profile and seem very sticky-grippy.
So far I like them, tomorrow I have planned a lot of twisty road so I will put them through a "proper" test....
Apparently they perform the same till the very end and are supposed to last a bit.
We will see....

For now. . . . around here, you can't find new ones. Which pisses me off, because Yamaha is still using them as OE. Of course, if Yamaha bought all of them . . . .
Dennis Kirk has some.

I couldn't find any Battlewings last month so I put a Metzler Tourance on the rear. It's working out well so far. Disappointed to see it was made in China though.
