It comes down to the relationship with your dealer......I now work at the dealership that I was a customer at for over thirty years , so I get to see it from both sides of the fence . Mistakes happen, poor communication too , that's life , but it's how they are dealt with that I think separates the good from the bad . Ducati are a good example of this.......if u contact them with a fault then they will sort it.....or ar least that's my experience. Same goes for Shoei , the UK importer is excellent , I struggle to think of a bad warranty experience .

Welcome to the forum Chris, please take a moment to add your location to your profile. It gives context to your posts and will help others give better responses, should you have questions down the road.

It's a little different in the US. We are not required to use Dealers for service to maintain our warranty. It's less common for someone to have a long relationship with a dealer since we seldom need to see them after the sale of the bike and if an owner chooses to pay someone to do their service work, they have many, many more options than the Authorized Dealers.

I'm clearly missing something here.....cant Dee how u update where I live etc.....Paul !!
It does appear very different over the pond so to speak .We are encouraged to build long term relationships with our customers and have alot of levity to discount clothing etc for people who regularly use us.....not saying we are perfect , far from it but any reviews positive or negative are noted and followed up . Unfortunately some customers are never happy and
take the pixx , they are few and far between however
