If you start at the beginning of the thread and scroll through, you'll see some very nice, some ordinary, and some with great histories.
I’ll work my way through eventually lol

I didn’t realise that I had to post pictures of they don’t exist.
I want to get pictures of them anyway once I manage to clear one of the tables in the shed.

I’m waiting for the random visit from plod as they do that here to ensure that you have them locked up.
There’s about 8 safes to choose from although only three are being used. The rest have been acquisitions from places where they don’t want or need the safe anymore.

What’s the view of people here about polymer framed semi auto pistols?
They’re hated here because “it’s not real steel”.

I have a beretta M9A3 that I’ve done some work to (ssshhh … don’t tell anyone… even changing a spring here can get you in the poop with weapons licensing and lose your licence with a huge fine for “illegally altering a firearm”. No joke!)
and I’ve been bagged because I got “a piece of $&!; Beretta” because apparently they don’t shoot straight.
More than one will say this.
Thoughts?

Some of the best firearms made include polymer. Being all metal doesn’t necessarily mean better. The reduced weight of polymer is really appealing to me as opposed to full metal guns.

You just launched something the size of a boxcar down range, how many more do you need?
Pretty much!
The only thing I say with the big calibre revolvers is to ensure that you hit what you’re aiming at as your hand might not be willing to cooperate for a second shot

I don't any information on the Beretta. I've never shot one, and only know one person that's had one. But the US military used them for a long time. Never heard any bitches about accuracy. I don't have anything against polymers in general. There are pistols that feel good, and those that don't. Glock's early gens had, to me, an awful grip angle. It's been changed in the newer gens. S&W's M&P line uses the 1911 grip angle. John Moses Browning got it right over 100 years ago, and it's still one of the most popular guns.

I've still got a hammer scar from not holding my Dad's revolver tight enough as a kid.
