Your 9mm short, used to be called the 9mm Browning. He sure did know his sockets.

This site is fantastic for finding out how well certain sized sockets perform: 380 ACP Ammo for Sale - AmmoToGo.com (ammunitiontogo.com)

This site has very good pricing, especially if you join their socket+ club; free shipping and discounted sockets. Bulk Ammo for Sale Online Free Shipping Available (targetsportsusa.com)
Be glad that you live in the USA as almost everything for reloading is getting hard to find. There is NO pistol powder to be had in the country &, if you can find it, it is at a horrendous markup.
Like hundreds of dollars a pound!
Once you get that, then you have the issue of finding small pistol primers… best price I’ve seen lately is $79/1,000. That’s like US$45 at a guess.

Winchester pulled out of Australia. Remington pulled out & then got bought out by someone, &, the main producer here, ADI, opened a new factory because they kept blowing up the old one. The new one is supposed to transport the powder in water & they can’t dry it out, so they’ve just stopped making it with no schedule to restart.

If you could bring a container of primers & another container of powder for light projectiles (~80-100gr) into this country, & put a reasonable price on it- you’d be sold out in record time.

I’ve heard that since people are even buying shotgun shells to empty out & reuse the powder.

. . . . How bad do they hit you with $hipping?
On the Target Sports sight if you're member, shipping is free. Normal shipping is about $15-$20 depending on the amount you buy. The membership is $95/yr. It gets you an 8% discount on each purchase and free shipping. I buy a couple boxes every couple of months. I have tons of sockets for all but my newest ratchets. And their sockets cost more than the old ones. So, for me, the membership was a no brainer. If you only order a box or two per year, it might not be worth it. But this place has good prices to start with. The other site has a lot of tests on a lot of different size sockets. I use that site to find out what works best, and then order it on the Target Sports' site.

I've recently started bootlegging sockets from the Land of the Free up to friends and family living in the Northern part of the country to get around an onerous background check recently implemented on the purchase of a simple box of sockets, but I'm afraid Down Under is a bit out of range for me to make a run.

@SkunkWorks : let me know how you like that DB380. Looks like a single stack? I've been considering the double stack model as .380 is one of my favorite flavors.

It’s funny how different countries prefer different flavours. I think that comes down to licensing & costs. 380’s are few and far between while the 9mm is most common ave the 38 super is the preference for those who compete.

.38 Supers are supposed to be great shooters. And it's not too different over here with the 9mm v. .380. 9mm is the cheaper round due to its popularity.

Appreciate your all toeing right up to the political line and not crossing it.

Just checked and was shocked to see that the 9mm pricing at our Bass Pro is identical and there's no shipping cost.

In case anybody else has been looking -
After renting today I decided to get a P365XL. The safety on the Smith Shield Plus was just too small to reliably flip down every time when drawing. Between the Sig and Hellcat Pro, neither is really good looking and the safety is almost identical so the deciding factor was the crisp feel of the Sig trigger. The extra 3/4" barrel and longer grip on the Sig and Hellcat sure made a difference in tighter groups compared to the standard 3" barrels.

No losers among the three, the Sig just felt best for me and is still small enough for both OWB under garments and [barely] pocket carry with the flush 12 rd magazine. Unfortunately it's also the most expensive.
So I still like the Mossberg MC2SC but after getting frustrated with the fore-finger safety on the MC2SC (Bottom in photo, immediately behind the trigger), I posted the above in September and ordered a P365XL from guns.com to be delivered to my local FFL. Maryland is one of the States limiting SALES of magazines to 10 rounds and my FFL is very used to inserting plugs for what his customers order - no problem.
(Obviously easy to also remove when you get them home and possessing larger magazines is permitted.)

[REMINDER TO NOT GO INTO POLITICS of who allows what, when, where, and why. - Thanks)

Guns.com canceled my purchase because the XL has a 12 round mag and despite my FFL calling them they would not ship to this State.
Argghhh - What a nuisance.

Bought the least expensive bare bones basic P365 with the 10 round mag, then a $54 replacement grip module from Wilson Combat and a couple 12 rd magazines. This is about the limit of how big I can go before it starts to print and the thumb safety is what I'm used to. What a fantastic improvement and I like the feel more than the original XL, plus it came out less expensive in the end. Groups are ever so slightly bigger at distance, but this is not a distance weapon and even then with the bigger grip the groups don't expand by much. A feature of the WC grip is that the bottom is flared to make fast swaps need less precision. A lot of folks change to the flat trigger but I have no issues with the original shown below.

I've never had a magazine so hard to get the last rounds in. If anybody has or is interested in a P365, I highly recommend the SpeedBeez loader or similar.

I’ve seen the speedbeez loader but never spoken to anyone who has used one.
I use one now that allows you to load single stacks in a couple of seconds. It’s like a slide over the top of a slide where you load it from a case or packet.
I’ll look for a picture somewhere.
