LOL.... As a 50 something, I have always known folk can also be plural with a "s". Folk itself is plural as a group, IE: Country Folk, Old Folk, Young folk, etc...

It can also be plural with an "s" when referring to individuals as in the context of the post, IE: bunch of individuals want their opinion on something...

Im no professor, but Merriam Dictionary feels the same and thats good enough for me...

BUT...... To avoid any confusion in the future I will use "guys" vs "folks"...

Shit, then I run into gender issues these days..... I give up...

Well So Cal dealers needed to order and maybe June. They wanted 7500.00 for a TW, cool bike, but I'm not paying that for one. Not paying 4k for a 30 year old TW either.

Though not a TW offroad, it'll be fine for the occasional putter on the mountain I wanted. Picked up this little guy. I have a KTM 300 XCW for the ripper days. One owner, 250 miles 2019 Van Van.... Funky, but I dig it.... Feel like the 14 year old hooligan back in early 80s ripping around on my garage sale bought RD 250.

Great looking bike. In some ways superior to the tw. Wish I could find one around here.

Yeah, I personally dig the looks better and the FI is a big bonus for me also. T Rex actually makes a pretty good selection of protection and bolt ons for it.

The limited availability of it is both good and bad. But Suzuki has generally been good about parts availability on their old stuff. Glad its got alot of DR 200 in it.

Went through the carb today, cleaned her up a bit and rode her around a little. What an interesting little bike this is. The 200cc motor is perfectly suited to its role. It has a weird gyroscope tendency to stiffen the handlebars straight under power. But lite and nimble and easy to throw around. Parts are cheap and available. Gonna put on some grips and rebuild the front forks.

Nowadays that a decent price. But, that is not one of this bike's talents. 80mph is maxed out, and at that speed, 70mpg is not going to happen.
Oh I agree. I just found it a little humorous that someone would put a windscreen on a small trail bike.

Yup. The guy that we got ours from had installed a smaller rear sprocket in the hopes of a higher top speed. It ruined the bikes goat-ability, and didn't help with the top speed. I immediately re-installed the OE sprocket.
