Just in!!
YES! Better than I expected! Several units landed in Vancouver on Friday
and barring any issues, yours is scheduled to start moving to Edmonton on
Wednesday. I've back-ordered your unit and as soon as it arrives in
Edmonton, we'll contact Yukon Yamaha for delivery.

You will be receiving information shortly regarding access to our on-line
parts and accessories website.

Thanks,

Ruth Stevens

Great info! One day at a time now....can't wait to finally see my black beauty in the "flesh." Hopefully the shipper can offload the bikes to Oklahoma before it bursts into flames. :p

Woo Hoo. But how come Canada deliveries came before USA? I imagine it is a simple distance thing as to shipping convenience probably. So which port of entry is it for the USA bikes?

I just stopped by my dealer's on the way home. He hadn't heard. I showed him the email. If the bike heads for Edmonton by Wednesday, it could be there by the weekend. Following, I expect to see the bike here in Whitehorse by about July 25 or 26, barring fubars. I think Ruth will start to update us on a more regular basis now that they are landlubbers.

Of course, to be fair to all of you, I couldn't possibly accept delivery until at least half of the U. S. bikes have been delivered. That's just the kind of incredible human being I am. R

Will do, intend to be at the dealer when it arrives, assist with PDI and have the 600 mile tune after the first Skagway, Haines, Whitehorse trip the moment it is wheeled out ths shop door!!!!

10-4. I'm anticipating a reasonable delivery date of July 25/26. I'm supposed to do the S. Canol this weekend on a borrowed Suzuki, but now I'm gonna try to talk my riding buddy into waiting a couple weekends so I can have my own bike, and be the very first Super Tenere in the world to do the South Canol. STAY BACK, TROLL ... STAY BACK !!!!!!!

Anyway, it's looking good. If the bike heads for Edmonton by Wednesday, then that is a pretty realistic scenario. Ruth said she would confirm departure to Edmonton. Vancouver to Edmonton is maybe 3 days, and Edmonton to Whitehorse is maybe 3 days. Throw in another week for fubars and sounds about right.

I am mildly excited. Somewhat motivated. Marginally effervescent. R

I'd be buying Ruth a nice bottle of Canadian whiskey for being such a good Customer Service Rep.
