After looking at some aftermarket companys and what they wanted for splash shields. I decided I could put some old plates to good use.

This all took about 30 minutes and I did have to slip them in from the top. So I had to pull the seat mount and the tank mount. Very simple!

Yes the brake resevoir is going to take a little more time to get to. But possible a small hole to run a screw driver thru will take care of that.

I did extend the right side with another piece of plate. Next I will get some flat stock alluminium and make some permanant ones.

I picked up some flat alumimioom So I can pull my templates out and cut some permanent ones. I will also make up a shield for the brake res.
Maybe I will take pics and post it up.

Why are we doing this again? Same idea as the fender extender which I don't get either?
You get spray kicked up from the rear tire that ends up on the back of your legs from the open spots on the rear frame......a rear hugger would fix it as well.
