Re: K&N filter installation on the WASPmobile.

Hey Greg,

As I mentioned, I just spent $60 on a set of the "shitty Unifilters" from Midland Yamaha... but just to make sure I have all the bases covered, I bought a K&N - for $35 inc shipping, from Amazon. So now I'll have the same filter options as you, for the same amount of money as you spent on the K&N :D
Bastards ;)
I'm getting sick of being reamed over here...

Greg.

Thanks for posting the K&N install pics Greg! I'll need to add silicon grease to my toolkit.

Also I ordered the motorrad pipe from Michael a few days ago. Took me a few tries to remember the protocol for international phonecalls :)

Can't wait to get the bike and pipe+filter installed!

New Heidi's for the WASPmobile.

FINALLY the Heidenau K60 tyres (albiet the new Scout version) is available of the shelves around the world, or more importantly, in Orstaylya...

I have had a Heidenau rear 140 fitted to the WASPmobile for the last 7 months and 7000kms which with my riding style is a very good rate of wear. I have found it to be IMHO the very best dual sport/long distance tyre on the market today.

Hopefully I will not be disappointed with this new version, but I will report as the kilometers rack up.

FYI - For the guys in Aus, I picked these up from Steve at AdventureMoto.com.au
Steve is a great fella to deal with and, although more expensive than they used to be, Steve seems to be selling these at a lot cheaper rate than can be got elsewhere around the traps, even including shipping them all the way across the paddock.

Greg.
