I got a call Wednesday that number 165 is coming to St. Louis on Monday, July 7. Bet you can't wait for tomorrow toedady. If they were on the same truck I bet it will be at my dealership Saturday. I can only hope. I thought this day would never come. My dealer told me it's coming directly from California and did not stop at the Chicago warehouse for distribution.

Did you get your bike yesterday? I did not get a call from my dealership. Maybe today?

I guess I'm not the only one waiting. I put money down about a month ago and had to wait and see if the dealer could even get an ST ES. I talked with him yesterday, he can get me a 2014 ES, but it may be August before I can take delivery. I guess that will give me some time to sell an 07 Super Duke.

got it Saturday, I ordered it in march, the day of the release. according to the sticker bike was built in may. coming from a Roadstar Warrior it's a whole 'nother can of worms.

BRYAN, you should have gotten your deposit back and looked elsewhere, there's 14es's out there

I picking mine up tomorrow night and riding it 60 miles home. I can't wait. Let me know what your first impressions are. I hope you've had some time to ride!

it had 6 miles on it Saturday morning, engine was still warm from the tech's ride. now it's got a whopping 280ish miles. no record breaking here. wife loves the ride, but she's very short in the legs and has a difficult time getting on and off, suspenson set to one person with soft ride. put on side stand and hang on she's gonna need my shoulders and kind of a jump to get her leg over.

Very frustrated here in Colorado Springs. Test rode a number of bikes and settled on the S10. Told my local dealer I want an ES version and he isn't sure he can get me one. Says he won't know until Tuesday since the dealership is in the middle of their ordering process with Yamaha. I called every other Yamaha dealer in the state and a few in neighboring states; there isn't a ES to be had anywhere.
Sorry, but what is up with that? How can Yamaha make a mark against the other manufacturers in the adventure bike segment if people who want to buy their bikes can't get them?

You have to remember this is just the first run of ES bikes. I've had a deposit and the bike on order for four months. More will start coming into the states. I picked mine up this evening and took a long 100 mile ride home. It's absolutly incredible. I have a lot of homework to do. The most enjoyable ride I have ever had! I can't wait for tomorrow.

Thanks. I see from a web search that Power Motorsports in Sublimity has two on the floor. The 1400 miles there is probably too much to ask SWMBO to drive me there to pick it up. ;)

Frustrated no more. The Yamaha trucks made it to CO today. Two dealers called me back to say their ES models had been delivered and "are you still interested..."

Paid my deposit and will be picking up my 2014 ES either Tuesday or Wednesday. Unfortunately, SWMBO and I had committed to plans for the weekend that we can't back out of. Otherwise, I'd pick it up tomorrow or Saturday and we would ride all weekend. :)

I finally received notification that my ES shipped from the warehouse toward my dealer in Las Cruces on the 8th. It might actually already be there, but I am not. I am in Colorado on business until Sunday! The wait continues.
