Yup. Today, running down the highway at 74mph, air temp showed 104°, and coolant was 178°.



It's very difficult to train in in this heat. Been leaving at 5 AM or 9 PM

Were people really taught to cover their brake with four fingers? One finger I get, and always do....but four? CW once told me I would not like the MSF instructor class because they discourage covering the brake. I couldn't imagine riding without my index finger on the front brake, so I suspect he's right about what I would think of the class.

How do you wheelie with four fingers off the right hand grip? I'd need a much more powerful bike. :oops:

Happened to come across this.... James Dean and his girlfriend. This was about one year before his crash. I didn't know this until recently, he only owned his 550 spider for one week before his death.
