Anybody know if the TAT is accessible from where we are staying, and if so is that part of the trail doable on a big bike?
I stayed at the Hub several times...

always include a trip to the Oark Generak store for lunch...they are on the TAT...as we have met several TAT riders there.

I was on a street bike, so I don't know anything about the trail in that section...but here's a related link;

~TABASCO~ (Jaxon) and I have been really ramping up the details for the event the past couple of weeks.

The first post has been updated to include the official rally website where folks can register and see what we've all been working on. This year we decided it was in our best interest, for sanity's sake, to have a registration fee/deadline.

$36 gets you an entry into the big raffle giveaway and a great dinner beforehand.
$45 will get you all of the above, plus a 2014 Rally t-shirt

Man I really want to make this one. I have the Bucky Dual sport on the 24th that I can't miss. It's in the Madison Wisconsin area. If I come I would need to leave early Thursday to make it home to load up the Husky 310 and head up to Wisconsin. This will be a tough one to squeeze it all in... Not enough days on the calender. When is the big dinner and raffle, Friday night I'm guessing?

Thursday evening is the dinner + big giveaway. Even though Friday is a full "rally day", most folks take that as an extra day on the road to get back home.

Holy crap! This is the first time I have seen the dates for the Tenere rally. The week before is the Big Texas Rally - I've already paid so I'm doing it. ::008:: Was a ton of fun last year.

I'll have to pull out all the stops to get clearance from the tower. ::025:: That would have me out on the bike for better than a solid week in October.

Before I commit to this, I am trying to figure out if can do this and Roll The Bones the same week.

I was planning the same thing. Will be a tough but fun week. I was thinking leaving the Tenere Rally Friday morning and then head straight to RTB5. If you decide to do both, let me know...I'd be happy to tag along or lead.

En lieu of True Grip's latest registration, the list of folks who are attending can be seen here.

Can't wait to ride some dirt with ya! I'm with you, the road routes, while stunning and well known, it's when the pavement ends that gets my scratches at my curiosity. ::26::

What days are you leaving and coming back?

I have some stuff going on at work that may keep me from going, but right now I am thinking of riding back home on Thursday, and leaving for RTB Friday morning.

Looking to get there either Sunday/Monday and stay till Friday morning.

Call me crazy but I am planning to pack up Friday morning, ride down to my place in Frisco and refit with camping gear/clean clothes. Eat a good lunch then head out to RTB.
