All tires on pavement including bikes?
Bikes on the grass are fine. They would like us to keep cars/trucks/trailers off the grass. Bike are never a problem.

so who is getting there when?
I plan to arrive Thursday afternoon before the dealership closes. For me there has become a tradition of joining with other early arrivers for dinner at Mario's Italian restaurant. Done it 4 out of 4 years...expect to make it 5.

I get out of work at 6am in Buffalo, NY Thursday and riding straight there to set up camp, grab dinner and pass the F out for the night. What's your tentative dinner time?

It's always been a real play-it-by-ear kind of thing. I'll say it's usually dusk or maybe a little earlier when we get there. Always dark when we leave. It's only a mile or two ride from the dealership, half of that through town.

thanks for the info guys..........

So I found 2 campgrounds with elec and showers about 30 min away. I may just stay there the whole time or only for the days before the rally........not sure.

30 minutes? The area has a lot of Mom & Pop campgrounds, some with utilities and some not.

Parsons Campground is not on the County list (http://www.cometohampshire.com/campgrounds/), but is so close northward that they probably hear our noise. The entrance is at the Scenic Railroad. 149 Eagle Dr, Romney, WV 26757

Not sure who owns this one or what facilities on Campground Drive at 39.320382, -78.786708

I'm hoping to leave work a bit early and make the dinner on Thursday. I'm staying in a pop-up trailer at the dealership.

I'll do what I can to break bread with the group. Thank you.

You might consider whether you really need utilities, or just an occasional dump and refill?

Git yer SHIRTS - SHIRTS - SHIRTS

Here's the call to order a shirt for this year's event and you can pm me your order, just like last year.

FRONT, showing this year's base shirt gray-blue color:

$15 for short sleeve
$17 for long sleeve

Add $6 for postage in the US or $10 for Canada, so that you can arrive in style, or pick them up in Romney for free.

Again, In-House Bob is making them and these are top quality blue-gray shirts, like in the graphic below. The price went up by a buck, largely because we had so many guys order bigger shirts, which we pay more for. We did come out positive last year but it wasn't by much and like last year, anything extra will of course go to the WV School for the Deaf and Blind.

To order, send me a personal message (pm) for my email address to use for a PayPal payment. In your pm make SURE to tell me the size(s) you want. DON'T FORGET TO TELL ME
(1) LONG SLEEVE OR SHORT,
(2) SIZE,
(3) ADDRESS IF THE SHIRT IS TO BE MAILED, AND YOUR REAL NAME TO TIE TO THE AVATAR NAME.

I'll send you my email address to send your PayPal payment to. When I see the size(s) you want in your email and the money is received, I'll send you a confirmation email. We don't yet have a hard cut off date in mid-April yet, but it will only be weeks from now when we will ask InHouse Bob to print the shirts.

The back will have a list like last year with a few small changes and the following is what we had (shown in last year's color):

[Legalese - I'll get the shirts into the mail but have no control about what happens between you and your mailman. The artwork is fairly locked down but it's possible that some details may change slightly.)

Love this. Would really like to do it. BUT take me off the the Romney list and add a room at Koolwink.

Getting my rotator cuff repaired on 3/11. Patrick you owe me!

As the better half constantly reminds me, I should have done it in November when our medical deductible was fully covered.

Still hope to make the Zion Rally later in the year.
Just seen this now.... Heal fast BigBod, this isn't from the mishap in Arkansas is it ? And I have a nice 18 year old Scotch your going to miss.
