I made it home at 9. Nice day without any rain! Should have taken Steve's advice and ridden 12 miles around town, but I was tired. 988 miles today, 2,189 since I left home Wednesday at 3 PMBigBob said:Reno is home supplying me with lemonade. I will be home in 90 minutes.
That was a great day Alan. Riding with you Larry and George was some of the best riding I've done. Having the knowledge of the local roads and the history of WV brings a whole new appreciation of the area. Also, almost getting hit by lightening on Friday got my heart rate up almost more than hammering Smoke Hole Rd ::015:: Most important, we all got home safe to ride another day. Meeting guys from the ADV community is always special. The mutual appreciation of bikes, rides, and sharing personal stories is without equal. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this an event I look forward to every year. ::012::twodogs said:New weather station established on Horn Camp Rd. I think it will work as well as our current system. At least I understand this one.
MojoToot... you must be Andy! I'm Brick, Chuck and I rode with you on Friday and I'm the one who landed in the mud! Thanks for taking us along! I'm bruised but not broken. That's a good thing. After I got home I did find a little damage... one of my left bag mounts broke off and is gone. Not a big deal! I definitely out rode my skill... but at 68 I'm still trying! ::003::MojoToot said:
