Condolences to your wife, and to you.
Hope to see you make it next year.

Hey guys,
Looks like I'm out for the Camp-n-Ride this year. My elderly mother in law passed away this morning.

Hope my riding partners from Kentucky behave themselves without me to ride herd over them. A wild crew so keep an eye on Anthony, Brennan, Tim and Josh. Take lots of pics and I'll be there in spirit. You guys have fun and ride safe, see you next year.

Mark, very sorry to hear of your loss. Deepest sympathy to your wife, you and the rest of the family.

You'll be missed, but I'm sure we can count on someone from your group to pick up the slack and make the KY to WV comparisons for us. See you next year.

Dirt dad,

So I'm about 2 weeks on a S10, Vstrom 1000 convert, but I'm coming to Romney.
From one DL1000 convert to another...welcome. You're going to love it. Sent you a PM regarding the raffle.

For those arriving early and watching the weather, I heard from Romney today. They are installing a 20x40 tent on Thursday morning. So if there is rain, there is still a place to be dry and relax with a beverage.

Damn, those guys are good.

The only mud we've seen, so far, was atop the look-out road off of Smoke Hole rd...and you could get around it on the grass. We did find some nice gravel after going through Lost River St Pk...then some scary deep gravel on the way to Johnstown Rd...then some even deeper mounded high in the center. And a lot more vreat paved as well.

Todds S10, which he picked up Sat. now has 600 miles. 1st service tomorrow.

That's still just a teaser shot! Kinda like trying to watch the scrambled nudie channel on cable when I was teenager...I can see something, but makes me want to see more!
Um......since YOU picked that analogy......you did get a full on unscrambled shot of her butt. You don't appreciate a nice hiney?
(the chief moderator MADE me do it, CW. You should ban HIM. :) )

Ok, here is a shot of that crazy part Jaxon made just "goofing around"

Meanwhile, I'm tucked in nicely at the KOA in Bowling Green. So far I'm liking Kentucky! Met some nice folks and the atmosphere just suits me.

Nice job on snake's bike, Jaxon! I really like the honeycomb. And you even turned it into a proper black bike.
;)

Snake - That bike is something to be proud of, even if you do have me banned.

So, what's a good street tire? Lol
I have no idea about those things.

Was brewing some fresh coffee this morning, on a glorious morning in Kentucky, when I got a surprise visit at the campground from a white Tenere.
Thanks for the nice visit Tony!

I love the Tenere community. Honored to be a member of it. Fine folks. (most of ya anyways. ::) )

Hey CW, I made that a bit confusing, but I meant YOU should ban AVgeek, for dragging me into the gutter.

Oh I definitely like a good hiney shot; looking good so far Snake, I can't wait to see the rest of it! And as far as being in the gutter, you did say this is the World's Biggest Dirt Bike ::008::

A street tire to me is a DS tire too worn down for serious dirt use. I'm a cheapskate so like to squeeze another 1,000 miles from the tire before replacing.

That's funny Snake. When I read your post last night about being in Bowling Green I almost called Tony but didn't as it was already after 11pm local time. I wanted him to take and post some covert operation photos of your bike putting an end to all your teaser pics. Lol Glad he made it over. See you in Romney. Tony are you still going to Romney also?

It was good to visit this morning with Bruce, I now have the Tenere fever; however my collision center manager has had two back operations in four weeks. So for now I will be filling in for him. Good to hear from you SilverBullet have a great time on that new Tenere.

Tony did not take any pics. But I guess he was the first to see it in the wild.

I just entered West Virginia. Been all over the world but never set foot in this state.
Gotta tell ya, the road I was on went from billiard smooth to bumpy and pot holed at the border. Lol

The scenery is awesome on both sides though.

For those with the new ES model, I guess you just hit the button and keep on going. ;)
