I'm moving to a Gen II, so my well loved and well ridden '12 is for sale. Mechanically excellent, well maintained, but no garage queen. 109k miles, (current odo is 108,929). Oil/Filter changed every 5k miles with synthetic oil. Final Drive gear oil changed at every engine oil change with Synthetic 75/90 gear lube. Air filter and spark plugs changed more or less on schedule. One owner bike. Clean and clear title in hand. This is not your average 100k bike. Please continue reading below.
To comply with forum rules, here is a picture of the actual bike being sold. Much on the bike is being moved off or to the other bike, so please check out the lists below for more info. If you see some pearl in the pic, it's probably going to the new bike if it's not mentioned, but feel free to ask about it.
Bought new on 7/11/11 (PDP bike) with 48 mo Yamaha Extended Service, (YES), warranty that was to end 8/3/16 - (extended to 8/4/2018)
Fuel Pump O-Ring recall performed on 8/6/11
Headlight harness recall done 3/20/14
Full head re-build, new pistons, rings, cam timing chain, timing gear shaft 2, shaft tensioner, valve stem seals, (all), 2 new intake valves, many associated small parts, upgraded CCT, coolant , spark plugs, air filter and Gen II clutch hub done on 7/21/14 at 82k miles when the CCT failed during starting after an oil change.
Valve clearance check/adjust on 1-5-17 at 107,307 miles. Re-shimmed exhaust valves to bring more to middle of spec, were on tight end of spec.
Current OEM rear shock has ~60k and comes with heavier spring for 200+ lb riders/loads and original oem spring. No leaks.
Bike is fully farkled now, but many items will be transferred over to the new Gen II bike when it is purchased.
Included with the bike at the price listed, ($1970 cost to duplicate):
Heated Grips on Mounted Heat-Troller ($125)
BMW Grooved Sport Grips - ($20)
Powerlet BMW style Power Port direct to batter w/fuse, mounted on opposite side of oem cig outlet - ($20)
HealTech Speedo Healer V4 W/GIpro X-Type Gear Indicator - ($250)
Lucky Bike Mirror Extenders ($20)
Vista Cruise Throttle Lock ($20)
Tenere Man tank protector - ($30)
Rumbux Full Spec Endurance Protection Bars - (Upper Crash Bars, Lower Bash Frame & integrated Skid Plate) - ($800)

Separate hazard flasher wired to toggle switch. Always hot, no key needed to use. ($10)
Probably more that I'm forgetting right now.
OEM items that were removed the day the bike came home, or shortly after, that will be put back on, or go with, the bike:
Windscreen
Rear seat w/rear seat riser block
Heel guards
Passenger grab Handles
probably more I am forgetting now.
**Rider seat is currently a Russell Day Long. I'm keeping that and moving it to the new bike. The new bike's rider seat will go on the 2012 bike.
Lots of details and pics of this bike exist on this forum already if you search my posts. I've ben here a long time and am a known person. I'm not going away, just moving to a new to me Super Tenere. This is a great bike that I love to ride. We are changing lifestyles and will be living on the road for perhaps the next year. For this and other reasons, the Gen II is appealing to me. No other bike is even on the list due to my preference for Yamaha and shaft drive ADV bikes.
