That sounds about right. Yamaha makes a good machine.

My old FJR, when I sold it at 162k, went to a fellow that was thrilled to get such a nice, modern bike at a price he could afford. A few weeks later, he emailed me that when his buddy and he traded bikes, the buddy having a near new FJR with less than 20k on it, they were surprised to discover that the 162k bike rode/handled hugely better than the <20k bike. I let that bike go with $2k worth of custom suspension that was set up right, but I couldn't really take it off and sell it separately. Gave me a chuckle that the old girl still had some things to show the new owner. It's still going strong, last I heard.

This bike still rides great. Took it out today and w/o all the panniers, fuel cell, etc, it really wants to romp. I forget how fun a naked Tenere can be.

Truly one of the very first batch made. Forgot that you had a high fender and I'm surprised you don't have one of the radioactive stickers on the bike.

The radioactive stickers are very cool, but crossing borders with that can occasionally cause "issues". O

Funny. Chances are really pretty good I'll have BBQ someday with your bike parked next to mine. (my intentions, anyways)
