My last posting on this subject was quite helpful in finalizing my decision on the 36L Caribou setup....so, hoping I can get same sage advice on bars and plate.
I'm leaning to Altrider Skid Plate...I like the construction, the gauge (3.175mm vs SW-Motech 3) and the SW-Motech crash bars, with the freeway pegs.
Though I think I prefer the engineering of the AltRider bars, I prefer the design of the SW-MOTECH bars and what looks to be lower weight. I also like having f'way pegs available...being able to stretch the feet forward after 500 miles really improves end of day riding.
Any comments? Have any of our overseas bretheren sampled any of the above and have personal experience?
