Happy Trails with Aerostich Tail Bag.

Panniers are water tight. I tested them a few times. ::)
MotoFiz bag isn't. But everything inside is in an overboard bag.
For 2 up and camping, I add 1 sleeping bag on top of each pannier, and the tent bag across the top of the MotoFizz.

Nice setup snake....

Here's mine. Ed at Happy Trails made me a good deal on these as they were "Scratch and Dent". There was barely one little scratch on one of the lids. Hardly even noticeable. These are the Denali standard cut at 47.5L a piece.

Topgear,

I like the narrow tall profile of those Denali's....
Look forward to seeing just how durable the rack set up and panniers are,w/tools and camp gear.

Anyone more has Kappa KGR33 on their S10? Like them (price is good ~ 2 new cases is around £600 with rack) and very interested but would like to hear some input before ordering.

This is my ride 2013 with a Honda top case from my XL650V mounted.

Can you please tell me how you mounted the Honda top case? I have the very same case mounted to my Varadero!

Givi Outback

Bought the Givi Outback 48L side cases. Very happy with my decision. More money than the Kappa bags but prefer the top opening model and the Outback look great. Now the top box is on the list to buy in the near future.

Factory bags - love 'em. Fit close to the bike, plenty of room for me, and when they're not on, the mounts are essentially invisible...

Givi Trekker 33 & 46
Have been used several times on some quite big trips and fully recommend them.
Completely waterproof, so easy to attach and take of, carry in just like a suitcase and have a nice balanced appearance on the bike. Have had several positive comments.

The little access slot in the bags make it easy for accessing the stuff you need for every stop like a camera, sunnies or map etc.
They easily accomodate what the wife and I need for a 10 day trip no worries.

Funny you should mention panniers. While cutting through the very muddy parking lot after Ironman National Saturday, I forgot how much a tenere with a worn K60 hates sloppy clay. With traction control off, that back wheel passed me up before I knew it, and I got my leg pinned under the left Jessie with handlebar wedged against a parked car. Damn near broke my leg and was lucky to have passerby tug it off of me. Would have been embarrassing if it hadn't hurt so bad-couldn't put weight on it for three days. Interesting I was just watching that video where the guy jacks the bike off his leg--I could have used that crazy gizmo. Moral of the story: Keep your feet on the pegs, I guess.

After having Jesse's on a GS and Givi's on a VStrom, I went with the Givi's. They just work for me and I really like their functionality. Topcase only when I'm commuting, I've only driven my truck to work 10 days since 1 Oct 12. ::003::

Trying to get a little dirt on the bike, arriving at camp in the Virginia Mountains....
