Did you say top bag? It's a Wolfman. From the looks it's 50 liters or more.

For those of us in the states, you can get European brands for soooo much cheaper (Sidi, Held, Givi, etc.) when you buy internationally. I bought a pair of Held Air 'n Dry gloves for $70 under the price it would have been in the states from MotoIn.de. You can get a pair of Givi Outback Trekker panniers for $641 SHIPPED from MotoStorm.it.

http://www.motostorm.it/en/accessories/luggage/givi-pair-of-side-cases-trekker-outback-48lt-aluminium.html

This was super relevant when the Euro was almost as low as the dollar. Not so much now but you can still get a great discount.

Make note though: Try your best to get your item shipped through DHL. DHL will hand off the item to USPS once the package gets to the States and USPS will only check your package once in a blue moon to see if it should be tariffed. FedEx and UPS will almost always check for tariff-able items and will send you a customs bill in the future. There's a whole thread on ADV about this:

My PLR 2119 Givi Rapid release rack will be arriving here tomorrow from Italy, it was ordered last week, I've saved about £90.00 over the U.K price including shipping so I'm very happy with that deal ::012::

Has anybody converted the stock panniers so the lid comes right off? Similar to the Zegas. The single hinged lid is a pain when all loaded up with camping gear.

Happy Trails with Aerostich Tail Bag.

Panniers are water tight. I tested them a few times. ::)
MotoFiz bag isn't. But everything inside is in an overboard bag.
For 2 up and camping, I add 1 sleeping bag on top of each pannier, and the tent bag across the top of the MotoFizz.

Same panniers from 3+ years ago. But with a little rattle can facelift.

Finally took some pictures

Hi Rog,

I'm looking for some PLR2119/KLR2119 pannier frames too for my 2014 ZE. Who did you use in Italy? Motostorm?

I see they took about 7 days to deliver &, being monokey, they give me plenty of scope with pannier fitments. SWMBO hates anything too large, that resticts pillion foot space. Presumably the earlier probs with the fitting kit have been Sorted now.

Regards ...................... KEN

Hi Ken, only just seen your message

I got mine from sovente s.r.l :)
Thanks Rog - there are several potential suppliers around, but it's a comfort to know these guys are reliable.
To think, I was only in Torino a few weeks back, on my trusty FJR.... & was it hot!

Roll on next month, when we aim the S10 at Austria/Dolomites.

Cheers ::003:: ................. KEN
