Well I made the mistake of riding a friends Tiger 800 XC yesterday and now I'm REALLY getting impatient. Wind in my face, front wheel in the air.... >:D

I know how you feel. I made the mistake of riding a Tiger 800 for a month.

Did I hear someone say that they'd only shipped the BLUEones, AFTER all of the Black one's were shipped? ;D

I hope the US bikes are closing in on western shores because if they haven't left Japan yet, this weeks typhoon Ma-on, just might postpone the trip! :'(

I would hope we know something more this week? I have to admit I'm getting alittle impatient. I'm sure Yamaha knows what's going on as far as a delivery time frame. I just sold my wing 2 weeks ago to pay for the S10. I didn't ride much this year to avoid having to put tires on a bike I was selling. I'm going through some major withdrawl! :))

I unloaded my GS back in October and normally would have begun riding in late April, so I'm really Jones'n for something to ride! :'(

It would seem the canadian blue ones have landed, taken from ADV Rider

My buddy put his order in the instant it was possible when finding out about this bike. (Vancouver Canada)

He has been anxiously waiting like everyone, and Yamaha Canada followed up his e-mail inquiries with great updates all along the way, "Your bike is built", "It's on the boat and sailing", "It's in port", "It's here!"

They even sent pictures of the bikes on the assembly line

Saw it in the flesh yesterday, OMG it's a beauty! The blue is an awesome glowing cobalty colour that just isn't given justice in pictures. (different blue than the US colour I believe) It sounds way more V-Twin than inline, and despite the anchor of a stock exhaust, it sounds wonderful! nom nom nom
