Sorry to hear of your mishap, happy to know you are ok and returning to your old self! How did that fancy skid plate hold up?

Well, excellent color choice, Rem. You could prolly pimp that grey one out for $50.00 a ride easily!

Hey, Jim ... it's good to hear from you. As chance would have it, I'm going down this morning to remove the Tenerator from poor old Mr. T. I'll let you know. A cursory visual inspection previously indicates no damage whatsoever. I'll know more in a few hours, if I can get it done. Feeling pretty good. Still have some sore ribs and such, but otherwise I'm a veritable ball of fire ... well, a bed of coals ... well, ok, I think faintly glowing embers might be the appropriate term. R ::022::

It's a sad day for Wade, he was looking forward to that one. Then again, the dealership route makes the most sense, think of the GST money you will save ::014:: ::014:: ::014::
How's the ST13 selling on?

Yeah, regards to Wade, assuming he was interested. This was the simplest way out for me, and as I'm still not totally mobile, it saves me a lot of messing around with the bike, etc. I had a hit on the ST1300 a couple days ago, but no follow up. It's not a good time of year to sell a bike around here. I'll getter done. Might have to throw in my dog, or maybe unlimited access to my raspberry patch in order to close the deal ... R

Glad it worked out for you in the end. Sell the st1300 with a full tank of gas, that will seal the deal, those thing take 49L right? ::015:: ::015::

I finally found the thread where you advised of your off .... very unpleasant by the sounds of it. Anyways, seems like you're through it and back to your old self. I s'pose you bruised ribs n stuff that always give you grief. I'm still suffering 3 years on (every now and then ... in the cold) from three busted ribs. So it's a grey bike then ... that'll go nicely with your hair and complection. :D

Seriously, pleased we didn't loose you ;)

Hah !!! You tracked me down, you persistent rascal. Yeah, I'm doing really well. I was most fortunate. It could have gone either way, but nothing was broken but my entire right side was a massive bruise from armpit to kneecap. It thumped the living snot out of me. I'm all good ... left shoulder still bothers me once in a while but I'll take it. No worries. Thanks for your concern and good wishes. The old dog will ride again.

And yeah, I love the gray. In fact, I think Im going to name him old GrayDog .. sorta kinda like myself. R ::008::

Rem,

I just found this thread on your mishap, glad to hear you are healing up. I had a couple of sheep try to take me out on my way home from the Gathering. They came down off a rock face on my left and crossed in front of me barely a foot away. I was trying to get my heart started again when I went around the next curve and saw the sign saying "Watch for Sheep on the Road".
They need to move that sign!

Gun-Man ... it's good to hear from you. Thanks for the nod. It sounds like the same spot. Where were you? I was a bit south of Muncho Lake on the Alaska Highway. Big curve .. two groups of sheep ... I've heard it from other people as well. yeah, I'm all good. took me a while to get right but except for the occasional twinge from my left shoulder, I'm back to my full 70%.

I guess you're trying not to get heat stroke in your neck of the woods ?? Hey, can I get some more of those little turban guy decals from you? Those are great ... Lemme know. And thanks again. R ::008::

STONE MOUNTAIN !! YES. Cloven hoofed, ruminating little bastards. That's the boys.

Well, either white or black will go well with my new GRAY bike ... maybe a couple of each? And the larger ones if you have them. Many thanks. I'll send you some coinage when I see the postage an all. Or Camshaft will. Thanks a bunch. R

Dear Rem,

I feel bad that I missed the news of your mishap until today. :(

I hope you can continue to milk this baby for everything you can get. As I read the thread, I was really worried that you might have experienced a serious head injury when you failed to ask for contributions to help pay your medical expenses and get your bike squared away. I hope you feel better soon and your wife doesn't find out that you painted on those bruises! 8)

Seriously, I hope you are back at a full 70% soon, riding your new, faster, gray Super Tenere over hill and dale, terrorizing sheep where ever you go. ;)
