The weathers picking up now , and entries into this thread are getting more exiting , so perhaps we should start regional threads eg , South West, Midlands, Wales , North, Scotland etc , so we can find the next meet more easily? Sort of a divide and get together ! ::012::

I'll volunteer to sort a meet out for us Northern England / Southern Scottish types, probably in April. I think a run up into and around the Borders picking people up as we go could be a winner. A quick suggestion could be Morpeth - Hartside - St Mary's Loch with however many stops in between to pick people up or drop off as peoples time & schedule permits. We can have several cups of tea along the way, although we may have to stop every 5 miles for Littledaves legendary bladder...

Anyone interested ;D

I'd be up for something, north if it's a weekend event (I'm near Milton Keynes) or meet up's if it's more local'ish.

Good idea Ferret, lets ge a regional post going & maybe it will be easier to find a short notice local get together should we suddenly have one of those sunny day things without warning

I'd love to get back to London, and gong back to the Ace for an Adventure bike show would be icing on the cake!

Isn't there one this weekend? ABR rally near Stratford?

I did arrange a ride out down here but only had three others turn up; as it happened it was very good sized group for the lanes I used.

I don't mind travelling to the south Midlands if another (not that I knew of the first) is arranged.

I'm up for it any weekend, provided we get some decent weather, except late August through to Mid September, when I plan to be touring the S10 in Austria/Dolomites.

CMC Clay Cross seemed to work quite well last time, not that I was able to attend, so how about a repeat performance there, circa 13.00 on any Saturday/Sunday. My diary is pretty flexible, so I throw it open to those with family/work commitments to decide.

Anyone coming from the South could always link up at the Golden Arches, Wall (Lichfield near A5/M6 Toll) which I think was used last time. Alternatives are available, so maybe Appleby Magna (M42 J11 Services) or Derby, Mackworth (A38) may work better, dependant on where folk start their journey.

So let's get a date set & prepare our sacrifice to the weather gods..................... KEN

Got quite a few outings planned, but if any date proposed falls favourably I'd be up for a play. Starting at CMC again suits me.

OK, it seems that Sunday 23rd has the best flying schedule and has the Vulcan confirmed. ;D

Schedule.
http://www.air-shows.org.uk/airshow-previews-and-reviews/2015-preview-bournemouth-air-festival/

Flying displays generally start between 12.00 and 12.30

How about meeting at Hengistbury Head which is a couple of miles away at 10.30 for a coffee and bacon sarnie.

Then ride into Bournemouth about 11.30 ish. Last year there was a car park by one of the piers dedicated to bike parking only.

Then its just a quick stroll to the top of the cliffs for a good viewing spot. Bring a folding chair or cushion. :)
