Hello,i don't speak english,i'm very sorry.
j'ai parcouru ce sujet,je n'ai vu personne parler du débridage de la 1200 xtz,sur ma moto j'ai réuni le cable vert et le noir sur la prise seule ,sous le siège, ensuite j'ai fait la manipulation au tableau de bord comme la R1.
maintenant la moto est un avion ,acceleration franche,plus de trou,une vraie moto.
Si canadien pouvait traduire ce serait sympa!

Peux-tu nous montrer les deux cables vert et noir? Il y a plusieurs fils au dessous du siège. Et qu'est-ce que tu as fait à propos du tableau de bord?

Mettre le coupe circuit sur off
* appuyer sur les 2 boutons( reset et select) en même temps et maintenir

* mettre le contact:
au bout de 5 sec vous voyez apparaitre DIAG sur l'écran de Droite

* Relacher les boutons et rappuyer sur les 2 simultanement ( affiche les codes pannes )

* faire defiler les code panne jusqu'a 63

* appuyer sur select ( code panne 70 )et dans la fraction de seconde suivante sur reset ( sans relacher select !), maintenir les 2 boutons enfoncés pendant 20 sec jusqu'a ce que l'indicateur de defaut moteur ( led Orange avec pictogramme moteur ) s'allume fixe ensuite appuyer sur select pour le faire clignoter:
icone fixe = 100 ch
icone clignotante = fp

* puis coupé le contact pour enregistrer la manip.

it's probably just to remove the French market power limitation...

Yes, that is most likely. The French are not allowed to have bikes with over 1006 hp, that is why all bikes that originally have over 1006 hp are resticted in one way or another to not produce over 1006 hp.

If you want over 1006 hp at the rear wheel like my XT1200Z has, fit all the mods (Akra, Arrows headers, K&N, PowerCommander V and AutoTune and get the ECU flashed) and you will enjoy all the power the bike has hidden for you.
