She's come home! Got my S10 back about two weeks ago but, given that i've been busy with work and getting the house decorated for Christmas, I've only just gotten around to posting up the good news. She did come back with a blown headlight bulb, so I spent the afternoon fixing that and "correcting" some of the untidy accessory wiring routing that the dealers technician had managed to inflict upon her. Not that i'm obsessive or anything. ::) Still waiting on the uninsured losses and damages side of the claim but it's looking as though i'll be done with that too, early in the new year. Yaaaay!

Good news.

Your bike looks very similar to mine!

What type of can have you got on it and how does it sound?

Mike
We both appear to have the best possible taste, having chosen the nicest colour for our respective bikes and identical luggage systems too!

I have a LeoVince carbon silencer on mine. The build quality is superb and it with the turndown tip baffle in, it produces just enough volume and depth of tone to make the bike sound like a 1200cc twin, not a domestic appliance. With either of the baffles removed, it makes a noise that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up but would almost certainly draw unwanted attention from the old bill.
The only downside is that this type of silencer does require repacking every so often (LeoVince say every 20,000 miles, I reckon closer to 10,000 but we'll see). It's not a difficult job to do though and all the necessary packing materials and stainless steel rivets are readily available.

Many thanks for that. Got me thinking.......might become even more alike soon!

Best of luck with your Third Party damages. Mine is still ongoing.

Good luck with yours too Mike. Just think, once the matter is dealt with and the damages do come your way, you may have enough left over for a farkle or two. Have a good Christmas in between times too. ::008::

Might even consider an 1200ZE (but still keeping all the Worldcrossr bits and accessories) if I get a decent pay-out.

I hope you and your family have an excellent Christmas and New Year.
