That was my thought when I bought the Wolfman.... Lightweight, durable, can take a beating. But, after using them on our big trip last year I saw some pro's to the aluminum panniers... Easier/quicker to remove, able to remove items easier, & lockable. Like everything.....there are pro's & con's. I believe the Jesse panniers will better fit my needs. It looks all the sizes look good and fit the bike well. Thanks for the input.low drag said:I have the 11" units, I've not measured the total width and compared to the width at the engine guard. They came with the bike (got it used) but have not had the chance to use them. I kept my Wolfman Expedition bags and attached them to the Jesse mounts for weekend rides. I figure the soft bags would make nice pillows should I dump the bike on a trail.
