Jesse's here. I felt they were a very well built setup for the money and am very happy with the choice. One thing I considered was their ability to repair damaged panniers rather than replace only. Turns out I needed it after last years rally. Very happy I was able to repair rather than trash one and replace it.

I have no experience with the Mastech ones, but I absolutely love my Jesse's. No complaints. The lids are awesome, latches are simple, and they are totally dry after a tiny bit of black permatex around the mounting hardware. I can;t imagine having any other bags on there...... you wont be disapointed.

Gasp, you drilled holes for the footman loops! I've had a set sitting in the cabinet since I got my Jesse's, just can't quite get the drive to poke holes in my lids.

I put stainless footman loops on the tops (on the angled sides actually) of my Jesses cases too. They are handy when I'm fully loaded with camping gear, folding chair, awning and portable pool. <grin> I put mine on with aluminum pop rivets, mainly because I wanted them to not vibrate loose or have any sharp edges inside the cases. To make sure they were water proof, I applied a dab of silicone to each as they went in. No problems so far.

You can buy 10 stainless loops on eBay for less than $15 with shipping:

I decided to change out my OEM boxes with the Jesse System after seeing them first hand at the rally. Al and his wife are great salesmen for their product! They are absolutely beautiful with fine workmanship. . . The attachment brackets have "1200" cut into them and looks great with the boxes off . . . I also got the Jesse box top system that drills into the side boxes with all kinds of attachment points and the brand new soft Jesse bags that fit exactly inside. I am totally happy with the system and can't imagine any better out there for our or any bike! My $0.02 . . .

I would love to have some loops on the bags along with an electrical port for charging stuff, but I still can't bring myself to drill a hole in the Jesse's. Maybe one of these days.

Anyone mount them to an ES, no instructions and website says they are coming soon........
Jesse sent me some instructions, from what I understand, they send them when they invoice you. Just got missed in this case.

No big deal with drilling the holes the loops come with rubber grommets.

What size Jesse panniers are you guys running. I am ditching my Wolfman Rocky Mountain soft bags to go with the Jesse panniers. I am leaning towards the 10″ Odyssey II – High Pipe. Seems like they would give me plenty of room and still be fairly slim-line to the bike. Input?

I have the 11" units, I've not measured the total width and compared to the width at the engine guard. They came with the bike (got it used) but have not had the chance to use them. I kept my Wolfman Expedition bags and attached them to the Jesse mounts for weekend rides. I figure the soft bags would make nice pillows should I dump the bike on a trail.
