That's maybe well and good, but even after capturnig it, I would not be able to post it to the forum with the ipad. :(

I post to the forum and other sites with no problem. Just download the app from a photo site. I use Photobucket.com and while their app is an antique that was clearly designed for iphones, it does work just fine.

Strange, when I am on the ipad, the little box for adding an attachment is grayed out, so not sure how others are doing it. Chris verified that his ipad did the same thing, I had the same issue when trying to add an attachment to an email in either yahoo or gmail.

It really does not matter now as I have passed the ipad on to my wife and I will be using an android based tablet from now on.

All the tablet platforms are so extensible that I'm sure with a bit of research and customization they can meet any need. It's the out-of-the-box configuration that can leave quite a bit to be desired. Honestly I'd rather NOT spend countless hours I don't have trying to make something work for me, I'm looking for a "start up and go" configuration.

The other thing that annoys me is that as somebody who runs a website and wants to ensure a good user experience, I need to be aware of the faults and niggles of the various platforms that folks are using. I personally consider it ridiculous that iPad doesn't support Flash or file uploading out of the box. This causes unneeded confusion and I'm sure are two things Apple could have remedied tomorrow if they wanted. The iPad platform is really quite stellar for web browsing (FAST!), minus these two things.

On a separate note (since this has become the "all things tablet" topic), the Kindle Fire is going back. The wife calls me yesterday about a lead on an Acer Iconia 10.1" tablet for $249. Clearly it's a better package than the Kindle so she grabbed one. Now I get to do a true head-to-head comparison of iPad vs. Android Tablet (3.0). ::008::

Agree, the ipad is a nice tablet and the typing experience is better than I am seeing on my android tablet. Its the other frustrations that bug me that I decided to pull the trigger on the Asus. Plus, I can add a REALLY slick keyboard to it if desired.

I'm anxious to see how the performance of ICS stacks up when it is released next month.

Are they expecting a performance increase with ICS? The general rule of Android seems to be that each release of it gets heavier, not lighter.

I suppose it depends on what we are each looking for. It is supposed to have some improved features for the gaming folks, which could mean it is heavier, but I'm hoping for that along with the improvements in the gamng and graphic world, we may also see some improvement in the basics - like typing delay!
