Me and Mrs. Boondocker are also heading out from Vegas about 05:00 Saturday morning. We have a camp site reserved at 1000 Lakes RV park in Torrey, UT. Nice place, we've RV'd there before. It's a long first day for us, but we want to get as far out north as comfortably possible. We're not fast because we're not afraid to take frequent breaks. Sunday night will find us in Moab at Moab RV. We'll reminisce about Easter Jeep Safaris past.

We're staying at the St. Elmo in Ouray, where we've already shipped a cache of our camping supplies for the return trip. We intend to hang out at the KOA to meet people and socialize when we're not on a scenic ride. On Wednesday, we'll go to Silverton so she can try to get on the train to Durango. The way home has us camping a couple of nights at Mesa Verde and a couple of nights at the North Rim, Grand Canyon - all reserved in advance. The last day, we could go all the way home or be spontaneous. I have to plan for spontaneity though.

If we happen to hook up with some fellow Ténéré riders on the way, that's cool, but I'm not much of group rider. I don't push it with the Mrs. on board.

Safe travels.! We'll definitely hook up somewhere.

Neil & Cheryl

First of all, he is a "Gorilla", not a "Monkey" and no, he does not travel. When on my Tenere, Gunther rides up front! :).

If I can only hang on til Friday night!

Well, thank you for all the info!

Joneil, I'm camping at the KOA and look forward to meeting you and that big hairy thing! You'll be able to find me, I have the beautiful, waxed, blue bike... :). Ok, that won't work, will it? I'll be the skinny, bald headed guy wearing a US Marine Corp cover (hat).

Boondockers, I play guitar at church on Sunday and can't leave until after both services. I look forward to meeting you both also. I'll ride till 7-8pm Sunday and close the gap Monday in time for the meet and greet.

Tabasco, thanks for your well wishes and look forward to shaking your hand. I commented to my brother, UncaBuddha, that I've been reading a lot of your posts and he said he just bought a light set from you? Small world, huh?

See you all Monday night! Luke

Swim Coach Mike, welcome to the Las Vegas group. Sorry it took me so long to answer you. I'm in KY with my brother, UncaBuddah, riding his S-10. Yesterday, 90 miles along the Ohio River was just beautiful! I'm coming home today but as a high school teacher, I re-start school tomorrow so availability is a little more limited, but keep in touch for some local rides. I live in Summerlin, not to far from JoNiel and maybe we can get Angry Red and Boondocker all together for a ride. They all are real nice people and you'll enjoy meeting them. I am going to work out the details with all. Again, welcome aboard and we look forward to meeting you. Luke
